The prices are skinny. No doubt about that. But if the race was tomorrow people would snap it up. It’s only the risk of injury imo that makes it seem stingy.
Tomorrow? Well given very little of his contenders have jumped a fence that’s a bit pointless Tiz lol

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 17, 2022 at 20:44 #1623498As for the 10, it was exaggeration, and i said contenders.
El fab
Sir G
Appreciate It
State Man
Flame Bearer
Dysart Dynamo
Kilcruitthere’s 7.
Kilcruit finished under 3ls behind him. WPM has been seriously positive on his training recently, likely to go up in trip and that’ll be factored into his 25/1, but, he’s not far off Jonbon.
Might impressive by the way, as i said. However, bookies prices are a shambles right now. If you aren’t on before the race at bigger, i can’t see why you’d get involved now.

Yup it’s either pre race or not at all these days unfortunately
The prices pre race now are what they’d have been immediately post race 3 or 4 years ago
December 3, 2022 at 13:52 #1625539He,s short but he,s bloody good , he loves jumping fences , these fences can catch horses out but he was excellent
December 3, 2022 at 15:41 #1625581I’m not on the Jonbon hype train yet.
Beat a few handicappers in 3/4 runner fields and you’re 6/4 for the Arkle?
He does jump very nicely though, I’ll give him that.
December 3, 2022 at 15:59 #1625584Facile Vega won at 1-9 today and gone 5-4 to 7-4 for the Supreme. It’s what bookies do ;o)
December 3, 2022 at 16:32 #1625590Boothill is a decent horse , it’s how he does it though, after the last he really picked up , it’ll be a good horse that beats him
December 3, 2022 at 16:53 #1625597Boothill is decent but I’d expect any grade 1 horse to do the same to him as Jonbon did today.
He is clearly good but two unchallenged solo’s in small fields early in the season before we have seen most of his competitors jump a fence yet has not got me running down the bookies to back him at 6/4…that’s all I’m saying.
December 3, 2022 at 17:23 #1625601Understand but his main competitors are likely to be running in similar small field races , at least you know he can jump well to
December 3, 2022 at 21:50 #1625679I was out and about this afternoon and have only just caught up with a few replays.
I was very pleased with Jonbon’s performance today. He jumped well and I liked the way he picked up after the last.
I assume it will be the Kingmaker at Warwick next, following the same route as Edwardstone.
December 3, 2022 at 23:15 #1625694What was the time difference between Jonbon and the Tingle Creek?. I heard there wasn’t much in it and Jonbon made his own running so a very good performance today regardless of what he beat
Blackbeard to conquer the World
December 3, 2022 at 23:18 #1625698Nathan- Edwardstone was 1.10 seconds faster, carrying 3lbs more.
December 3, 2022 at 23:20 #1625699Thanks Gladders…
Blackbeard to conquer the World
December 4, 2022 at 07:38 #1625729Worth noting on my hand times and I’m no pro at it by any stretch Jonbon was a lot quicker (around 2 seconds) from the last to the line having been eased down, he had so much left in the tank it was scary.
December 21, 2022 at 03:57 #1627622Got Jonbon at 14s with hills put him up in Cheltenham 2023 bets thread was 12/1 then hills had him 14/1
December 21, 2022 at 11:47 #1627659Basically a schooling round for El Fabiolo today, as he was left on his own out in front and Colonel Mustard was ridden to finish second. A couple of novicey jumps from the winner but generally a solid performance.
Be interesting to see if his jumping stands up when he is taken on or among other horses.
December 21, 2022 at 11:55 #1627660He just got ‘a bit bored’ up front on his own and missed one or two, every chance he will jump better in a better race getting a lead I think. Like Mighty Potter, a young horse learning on the job who connections hope gets better with racing.
