    Just seen this horse refuse to race again at Southwell. Its last 5 form figures are:

    RR RR 0 RR RR

    and the duck egg in the middle was when he was very slowly away. Two questions if you owned this horse why would you continue to pay training fees to keep it in training??

    And how is it allwoed to keep running, when horses that refuse to enter the stalls have to undergo a stalls test before they are allowed to run again??

    Seeing this horse reminded me of Piccled last year. He has been banned from racing in this country but actually won in Jersey earlier in the year.

    I suppose the owners keep him in training for the same reason any owner does……hope!

    Maybe he’s fine in the tests and at home, it’s just the excitement of the race that gets to him or something.
