That bloody AP, sooner he retires the better. lol.
20/1 Ma Filleule
What a fantastic ride!
Great to see him do it like he used to, from the front. That’s where imo he’s at his brilliant best.
More than any other jockey he wins with horses others wouldn’t. Am sure others will say Walsh does, but Ruby’s strength is imo getting horses jumping economically and making very few tactical mistakes. ie If the horse is good enough it wins under Walsh.
With AP the horse does not need to be good enough. Am sure my form study will bare better results when AP is retired.
Value Is EverythingMarch 12, 2015 at 15:05 #828158It was wonderful.
So pleased for him.
March 12, 2015 at 17:37 #829018Typical AP . great to watch but I can’t ever imagine him finessing one LOL
March 12, 2015 at 18:45 #829067It was great to watch, especially as I backed the horse, but Liam Treadwell gave Carrickboy a similar ride a couple of years ago and didn’t make any headlines. I was happy for him today, though. Would have been even happier if he’d gotten AFC into third, though [so close].
March 12, 2015 at 20:40 #829294Must admit I was going to start a similar thread after his ‘ride’ on Yanworth in the bumper.
March 12, 2015 at 21:38 #829681What a ride! So pleased for him, and he must have enjoyed every furlong of that race. The hood transformed Uxizandre from an impossible ride into an armchair ride. I think that win tempted him a teeeeensy bit to think twice about his retirement……
