If anyone sees Glen Gill could they tell him I’d
like my money back after the way that Gosden
horse ran at Newbury last night
June 23, 2010 at 10:44 #302737Think he’s been warned off like his mate. Maybe he should look for a honest occupation instead of trying to rip people off.
June 23, 2010 at 10:50 #302739If it’s the real Glen Gill he was cleared of doping that horse and it really was an accident when he clicked the ‘lay’ button for Gullible Gordon on behalf of big Harry.
June 23, 2010 at 10:55 #302742There were a few smart comments placed on his thread this morning in anticipation of his return. Matron did him a favour and deleted the thread.
June 23, 2010 at 10:57 #302743His 4/1 gave it away.
fox knews
The fox waited and waited.
The farmer seemed to visit
the hen house every night now
and the birds all looked
much bigger than they used
to in them bygone days of the
easier pickings. He kept reading his rule book.
Wait for the right moment and pounce." Madge that small copse at the back
of the hen house – I took to clearing
it today – guess what I found ?" An old playboy ? "
No an old critter of a fox,
stiff as a board.
Strange thing was there
was a newish pair of binocualrs
right next to him." What’s strange bout that dear ?"
.. " They were round his neck ! "
June 23, 2010 at 13:09 #302759The one I fancied to take on Glen’s ‘tip’ was withdrawn, but even so I think I’d have beaten his selection despite mine being 20/1.
Does anyone know why Perfect Vision was a non-runner please? My ego convinced me that connections, having seen my tip on here, decided to wait for another day rather than lose the value because they knew Nathan Hughes would be lumping on.June 23, 2010 at 13:15 #302760If anyone sees Glen Gill could they tell him I’d

Matthew, if you backed that rag and did get a refund, I’m afraid you’d only go and lose it on the first "find the lady" game you stumble across.
When it looks too good to be true, 99 times out of 100 it IS too good to be true

I was taking the Michael CS, I’d never have followed that
horse after the threads on here…It made me chuckle.
Surely, this guy isn’t mates with HF? HF would be embarrased if
he saw all that stuff on here last night.June 23, 2010 at 13:33 #302766The one I fancied to take on Glen’s ‘tip’ was withdrawn, but even so I think I’d have beaten his selection despite mine being 20/1.

June 23, 2010 at 15:03 #302777Thanks Sberry. Strange, withdrawn less than thirty minutes before race time. Surely they knew the state of the going a lot earlier than that. Confirms my suspicion that this was a goer until they saw my tip for it at 6 p.m.
Keep an eye out for it, Perfect Vision.
Cheers
KJune 23, 2010 at 17:21 #302799"Charlatan", get an "honest job".
Sorry, but where’s the evidence of this?
Fully understand why he was banned, spamming etc. but can’t see any reason to call his integrity in to question.
There are well respected, established members of this forum who’ve had tipping lines.
Not that I thought Namaskar was a good bet at 4/1. I’d have wanted 11/2 to back it. After seeing it in the paddock at Salisbury on reappearance. Very much on her toes, head high (as in the race), bit free to post and in the race. Had her down as one that could improve, but temperament suspect. Certainly not the value bet Mr Gill made him (imo).
At Newbury looked around the paddock as if still green, again too free in the race and carrying head high. Some of us were on the winner at good prices.Value Is EverythingJune 23, 2010 at 17:30 #302802Thanks Sberry. Strange, withdrawn less than thirty minutes before race time. KThe going was good to firm, probably on the good side judging by the times.
It’s run 5 times before, twice on good, twice on good to firm and on polytrack which is equivalent of good to firm? It’s best two runs on turf were on good to firm, maybe over too far and it won on polytrack.
So what was wrong with the going then?

Racing Post comments…
"Namaskar, just as when runner-up to subsequent Italian Oaks winner Contredanse at Salisbury on her reappearance, refused to settle and was disappointing this time."
Anyone with genuine inside info would surely be aware that the filly was likely to pull her way to defeat.
I stood for an Irish Bumper mare (Mary Spring Rice) twice for fairly big money during the winter that threw at least one race away by pulling too hard, I put her up on the forum in my defence she was a 20-1 shot (not a 2nd fav) and I didn’t omit a warning that she’d have to settle to win and that was a risk to take into consideration before having a bet….and that was without "inside info".If I was trying to get customers ….and I’m not…. I’d have made sure my "Free sample" was utterly bulletproof.
GRANGECLARE GOLD last night for instance
Quote "If ever a horse stood head and shoulders above the opposition on all known form, it’s Dessie Hughes’s GRANGECLARE GOLD"June 23, 2010 at 17:49 #302807The one I fancied to take on Glen’s ‘tip’ was withdrawn, but even so I think I’d have beaten his selection despite mine being 20/1.
Yes you are right Ken, I lumped on with my Ladbrokes odds-on card, a few more non runners and i get a free bet.
However you might be on to something as funnily enough my two naps in today’s comp were non-runners.
