They didn’t see which way he went
November 25, 2007 at 16:10 #126940Good prediction.
The old owner of Wotchalike rang up Mr Best to wish him luck the morning of Exeter. Mr Best told him the horse had been working everything off the gallops and they were having it off big time. The working everything off the gallops is complete bull (wouldn’t go past a rabbit), not sure about the rest.
All I know is that he is no horse to fiddle about with.November 25, 2007 at 16:14 #126942Great call, Mounty.

November 25, 2007 at 21:45 #127045I’m spitting feathers I didn’t back it- timing was wrong in the middle of Mrs Carvills early Christmas shopping…..
Rhetorical is an interesting runner for him tomorrow in the selling hurdle at Ludlow- will carry a few quid of mine if he’s the forecast 7/1.November 26, 2007 at 10:41 #127129On mature reflection Rhetorical looks to have a lot to find, even for Mr Best.

Dont know where you got to know that Wotulike was not working well at home and as you put it ‘would not go past a rabbit’ as others were told exactly the opposite. At the end of the day the losses were a quick loan as that winner Mickmacmagoole was certainly put in its place yesterday by another one of Jims at Kempton
(7s into 3s)
Before you accuse me of aftertiming a few members on here got the nod and the price.

I couldn’t give a toss what others were told.
November 28, 2007 at 10:30 #127566I suggestyou know the horse on your/your father’s gallops, that doesn’t mean that he isn’t burning up the gallops at Jim Best’s.
Different strokes and a change of air and scenery can make a difference.

I hope you’re right, as he does have stacks off ability.
November 28, 2007 at 15:11 #127620No idea what he’s done to Lady P but I’m sure that’s not the same horse I saw at Jeremy’s.
November 28, 2007 at 16:11 #127637…………………………………..and Hidden Weapon at 25/1 (much bigger available early).

November 28, 2007 at 16:18 #127640I might give up work and just put £500 on every Jim Best runner
