Before emian posted the Panoptic Picks thread I was under the illusion that we were assessing everything in sight
and started work on the Leicester meeting, as usual I got hold of the wrong end of the stick
. However, rather than waste my speed/form checks I am posting them as a one-off today. Everybody and his wife studying the form is going to come up with these so they will all probably be favourite or near favourites. As to price, I wouldn’t bother with anything going off shorter than 2/1 requiring better than a 30% strike-rate:Leicester
2.00 Mic’s Delight
2.30 Near The Water
3.00 Lady Willa (dangers – Rash Call, Golden Prospect)
3.30 Tafika
4.00 Mannlichen (danger – Amuse Me)
4.30 Mayolynn (danger – Colinette)February 3, 2011 at 13:13 #338917I changed the thread title
, I thought owing to the Wincanton meeting not looking good for punters in the main I would check out Towcester by speed and form.It is true anyone can pick winners but it is finding them at a price to make a profit that is difficult. Not expecting better than a 30% strike-rate anything shorter than 2/1 is not a bet.
Towcester Feb 3
1.40 The Chazer
2.10 Molly Pound (danger Rince Down)
2.40 Nous Voila
3.10 Atherstone Hill
3.40 Overnight Fame (danger Bunglasha Lady)
4.10 Fredo
4.40 Monbeg Dude (Howard’s Legacy)February 4, 2011 at 13:09 #339008That Panoptic Picks thread has sidelined me toiling at the coal face
Hopefully, my speed/form possibles will do better today as it’s a better card. Same as before don’t consider anything shorter than 2/1.
