Any potential members out there for the ‘Anyone but Paul Nicholls’ club?
There must have been a few (and not for financial reasons) to have been pleased when Five Dream didn’t win. The operation should be referred to the Monopolies Comission!
February 9, 2008 at 19:34 #141713We have been here before – it’s just that the chances of Nicholls being offered a job training fifty 2-y-olds at Manton and emigrating a year later are a bit slim!

February 9, 2008 at 20:57 #141745Perhaps a little bit more competitive on the scene, over-all, back then. Mind you, I’m sure that PN wouldn’t mind being a bit slimmer!

He has one in training with Alan King, that may or may not confirm the above opinion.

Yes, the first four winners, and perhaps the most amazing thing was that only one of them went off favourite!

Does PN hold a flat license?
February 10, 2008 at 10:49 #141869I think P Nicholls 25% strike rate is impressive,M Dickinsons 46.3% strike rate for a full season 1982/1983 makes it a no contest.
If you go to back a certainty always buy a return ticket.
