I don’t know but at a guess all three winners have not won since.
I am only going on the Albert Bartlett winner Martello Tower
June 30, 2016 at 10:42 #1253525Nice try but no.
Clue: It’s not specific to the 2015/6 season, just a fact that holds true up to that point.
June 30, 2016 at 15:46 #1253599Ghost – I’m curious to know whether or not the answer concerns itself with racehorse fatalities either on or off the track.
June 30, 2016 at 18:25 #1253659Is it to do with horses having one the other two and dying in the Fighting Fifth?
June 30, 2016 at 19:46 #1253663Nothing so morbid!
It’s nothing to do with horses at all…
June 30, 2016 at 19:54 #1253664This is a head scratcher …
My best guess is British Grade 1 hurdle races on a LH track that have not. so far, been won by WP Mullins!!

Very very close! The handedness of the track isn’t relevant, and it’s not the trainer but…
July 1, 2016 at 15:52 #1253782Not won by Paul Nicholls
July 1, 2016 at 20:22 #1253809You’re both right that they all haven’t been won by the same person. Just not got the right person yet.
It’s not a trainer.
July 1, 2016 at 20:43 #1253813A P McCoy?
July 1, 2016 at 21:03 #1253816I do believe is one Ruby Walsh? Grade 1 hurdles he hasn’t won yet.

That’s it, TO. They’re actually the only Grade 1 British NH races that Ruby hasn’t won (yet).
July 2, 2016 at 14:31 #1253996Oh dear, my turn again …
Try this: name the connections (three) between two brothers that won a host of Group 1s in continental Europe in the early 1980s and a Grade 1 winner over hurdles in the 1990s. & what is the link to today?
July 2, 2016 at 16:09 #1254024Are we talking human brothers or equine brothers?
Or is that too much of a clue?
July 2, 2016 at 17:12 #1254043It’s a clue – the brothers had eight legs between them!
July 2, 2016 at 18:30 #1254065I’m pretty confident I have the two brothers… I suspect they are Glint of Gold and Diamond Shoal, both by Mill Reef out of Crown Treasure (Graustark).
Not sure about the connection with the hurdler or today (unless it’s that Mill Reef won the Eclipse Stakes in 1971)?
July 2, 2016 at 18:35 #1254067You are close St Nic!
You have the brothers, and you have the link to today (Eclipse day; an Eclipse winner) – but you need the hurdler, and the connections are not the two brothers!
