Neil Mulholland, the rider of CAROLE’S DESTRIER, which was pulled up, reported that the gelding was unsuited by the ground which was Good to Soft, Good in places.
It’s three wins have come on good to soft twice and heavy once. Also placed on good ground and heavy.
So what is it’s ground.
I give up second guessing.

December 6, 2014 at 20:38 #497728From a punter’s perspective it was the most puzzling performance of the day. Not so much any ground issue (although that explanation seems ridiculous) more the fact that the horse is a (successful) front runner and suddenly he is held up in last. Made no sense at all.

December 7, 2014 at 20:51 #497826Thnaks TBB, however I am old fashioned and like to watch and make up my own mind as opposed to go on times for ground conditions.
