This time at Thurles. We’ve already lost Missgiloney and He’s a Delight and now it looks like Venture Capital may be gone as well. Hope that he’s going to be okay, but he was down then up and then down again.

February 28, 2013 at 19:22 #430810This is terrible news and so soon after Catterick, so depressing what on earth is happening to our horses at the racetrack, or is it all just an awful coincidence. I’m beginning to dread Cheltenham rather than look forward to it
RIP
Missgiloney
He’s a Delight
Venture Capital
condolences to all who loved and cared for you
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 28, 2013 at 20:44 #430818Don’t really know Triptych. Missgiloney took a horrible fall at the 2nd last in the first race at Thurles and it was pretty obvious she was gone; He’s a Delight looked like he might have gone wrong just before he jumped a fence in his race and I thought Venture Capital’s fall wasn’t bad as he went down, but could see when he immediately got up that all wasn’t right. I wonder if he got a kick to his head from another horse as they tried to avoid him.
RIP, every one.
March 1, 2013 at 00:07 #430841RIP to you all.
(On a selfish note – am very glad I was in the office today so didn’t see these.)
Terribly sad – what an awful week. - AuthorPosts
