    One of my favourite horses ever, tiny little soul, brave as a lion. Died of colic a week after parading on National day. 25 years old. Not fair.

    RIP to another standing dish of the National – especially sad given that he looked so well parading at this years race, he will now be able to chew the fat with Rummy

    Remember seeing him at Newmarket National Stud of all places, he was having some sort of sabbatical there, it was about the time Be My Chief and Silver Patriach were standing.
