Just failed and here’s a post which went on in the wrong thread

No time to even look at a single race and just in and looking forward to the breeders cup tonight. Hugely busy and productive day in the field literally.
But some very bad news about a little lovable jack Russell who’s been a mainstay on my rounds.
    So this is for Molly.
Hopefully, some winners in Ireland 🇮🇪 England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and USA 🇺🇸.
    We’ll see.
First off all the English races are finished.

    Dundalk2030

    AUTOCRAT
    Win
The draw data horse and looks potentially well treated.
    NIGHT GLOW
    Each way
Similar claims to autocrat and won a good maiden to the extent that Alalcance the runner up bolted up next time in a maiden by four lengths off a mark one pound higher than night glow runs off tonight.
Night glow has been running off a mark in the high seventies from the start so looks well in here.

The good hoped for on Saturday came a day later yesterday with some decent winners and the knowledgeable ones challenging the results as not dependent on draw and free energy rather depending on them being favourites but choose to ignore 25/1 second and 16/1 third in same race.
Worth a read on the main forum. If want a definition of a Luddite or flat earth 🌍 theorist take a read. Apparently there is no new science and only existing estsblished science is acceptable.

One for any early  birds 🦅

I’m off to the allotment  first light, massive order of Jerusalem artichokes from friends including the head chef of a big restaurant in town ( all free).

They would benefit starch and flavour wise from a hard frost but they are ready in any case. First year planted them in April had some last Sunday made a sauce from the largest one and poured it over Sunday roast ( still farting regularly from it!!) then early start at work designing a no dig bed and planting tulips (weather regardless)

    SHA TIN 0500

    Diamonds forever

    each way

yet to win but been impressive third or second three of last four runs now targeted specifically at this race and the top weight under Andrea Atzeni hugely underrated as a relative newcomer but he’s ridden out here before one of our top jockeys and already regularly amongst the winners but a huge price here.

    FORTUNE MASTER

    APEX TOP

    BOTH WIN

Both well below previous winning marks and one of them came in October last year and another one in April. Dangerous to dismiss. Good jockey bookings all three runners here.

Really sorry to hear about your Molly passing on. They are not like family,
they ARE family. My mum had a Jack Russel that you would swear was crying
when he knew we were going away when Mum was still alive and so was Patch.
I always had the armchair and Patch would climb up and be draped round my
shouldrs like a shawl. He was my mum’s dog but if I’m honest he loved me.

As I Said, I’m so sorry to hear about little Molly. God bless her :rose:

    Thanks Big G,
I appreciate it and have been in bits unusual for me as I have a skin like a rhino on these situations maybe it was losing a rugby buddy and workmate in the two week period when we’d have been yarning about the world cup now.

    The curragh 3:00

    falcon eight

    win

unlucky run into Magellan strait in the Cambridgeshire and up half a stone may not be enough to prevent this game runner duly landing compensation. Second time round always different and chance may have gone already but top rated and if coping with the rise may be enough of a challenge for the field. Was very unlucky last time and chances here if getting the rub of the green stuff.

    cork 3:15

the cork national a big stable switcher and another top rated runner as

    DOL KIER

    Each way

Moves in-house for Gigginstown and jockey booking looks an interesting one. Unable to complete in the Liverpool grand national but has the trip and the fight time of year for this winning pointer now suprise to see bold showing on debut for Gordon Elliott with none of the normal shenanigans from this yard as too fitness and such like as this one comes “ oven ready “ with instructions from connections on jockey booking and best running conditions. No excuses here.

Falcon Eight did the business 👨‍💼 marvellously 6:5 lengths marvellously to be precise. So no one gets apoletic it had nothing to do with free energy whatsoever. He had a can of iron bru in the saddle on an intravenous drop which the jockey released at the furlong pole.
Dol kier also did what was required on the tin and was not put into the race at any stage so pushing the button saw him take fifth and return decently on investment with an effort next time over much further quite likely to see massive improvement.

There are enough horses there to investigate particularly the quiet late race but all warrant closer inspection but on a busy day in life little time to get over involved. I’ll also take a peek at Hugh Taylor’s picks if they’ve yet to run and post them in here. With the exception of soul selection I’ll try and keep everything in house today then I’ve the time to concentrate and focus. A lot going on at the moment and delighted to have a fresh supply of poo for my agricultural pastimes.

Hasty selections rarely workout and a closer inspection required before any other picks but determined to come up with a good in before close of play and hopefully one befitting of the Alexander’s
I will post Hugh Taylor’s picks and deconstruct the featured races from there.,,,,

Another hasty selection coming up for the 1930 at Wolverhampton. The difference being that I will at least have looked closer at each runner by 1925…..

The lucky last there is a double bubble of traverse law and free energy.
Two horses come to the fore here. Christine Dunnett is often the fall guy in these low grade affairs and it is not until they reach a really low rating they pop up at Yarmouth or satellite track Newmarket at a huge price.
Off course if not getting home it’s obvious he’s not up to it but if he should perform well it’s not either free energy or traverse law and in true medieval fashion a ducking stool could be adhered to the trainer in case of witchcraft…
