My early darts are all double figure prices, except this one. I thought Ladbrokes/Corals 5/2 for Mountain Breeze was reasonable. Assuming she makes it, I would be surprised if she went off bigger. Two runs, two easy wins, and she’s looked very straightforward. It doesn’t look as if she needs a massive amount of cover. I wasn’t that impressed with new second favourite, Fairy Godmother, today.
First two in the betting interesting although difficult to trust any Appleby runner for this meeting, Buick also been a bit erm…underwhelming.
I liked TWAFEEG, she had a tardy start on debut but got to the front and saw it out well, 9/1 just about on the value side.Mountain Breeze – 3/1
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Surprised Fairy Godmother is 9/4 on the machine. Maybe she’d be 5/4 if she had a better draw. My guess is Mountain Breeze 1 May foal may prefer further and will need certainly need to be sharper than her mum Lava Flow!
I wouldn’t take on fav anyway – bred for this ground.
That was some performance cutting across behind the field then zoom.
