GARRUS won this last year having finished a close 2nd the year before. He clearly likes it here this time of the year. COMMANCHE FALLS was a head behind him on that occasion so I’ll stick to the formula of ‘runner up previous year wins this year’. A cannot fail system.
Trainer could do with being in better form but he hasn’t run many of his good ones, this is one of the good ones.
Also, I thought WASHINGTON HEIGHTS looked a little overpriced on what he achieved on his last run in Sweden. Can’t put much faith into Bro Park form but he did it really well and progression likely.COMMANCHE FALLS 13/2
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS 40/1
April 16, 2024 at 22:58 #1690798That was some race Chivers and I actually backed both Garrus and Comanche Falls that day and in a forecast.

Garrus is a bit hit and miss with his wins so I’ll be siding with my favoured grey…
Shouldvebeenaring – 9/2 WIN
Commanche Falls – 6/1 EW (Paddy Power)I’ll probably wait and back them both on course on Thursday and do a comby forecast with Garrus included
