Dale Jennings. Tranmere Rovers. Age 17. Nationality English. Place of birth – Liverpool.
So, he’s got the talent. Will he:-
    a) Continue to impress with Tranmere, then get signed by top Premiership team, where he’ll become a superstar and lead England to World Cup glory.
    b) Continue to impress with Tranmere, then get signed by top Premiership team. Become a superstar but succumb to booze, ego, sex, drugs and disappoint miserably at the highest level.
    c) Continue to impress with Tranmere until Man City sign him for some outrageous fee and he’ll sink without trace.
    d) Sink without trace at Tranmere.

Sadly, option B seems the usual career path.

    It’ll be D

If he were that good he would have been snapped up by now by Everton or Liverpool

Looks a good player but at that level he’s not beating much, George Boyd and Robert Snodgrass have looked sheer class in that division.

Put this lad up against Michah Richards or Bacary Sagna and see how easy he can do them runs for 90 minutes.

Strange how you mention Robert Snodgrass Mr Wilson, but fail to mention a player who played in the same team as him and absolutely ripped it up in that division.

Going back quite a few seasons now I was fortunate enough to see two young lads come through at Leeds. For a season the reserves played at my local rugby league sides ground (as good a pitch as you could wish for by the way!) and I went down to most games that season.

Anyway, the first time I saw one of the young kids (who was 16 then) I went to work the next morning and said to one of the lads that I’d watched a lad play who would go onto play for England without doubt in my opinion.

Ironically the game was against Tottenham and every time the lad got the ball he absolutley murdered them, going past players at will, he had an absolute stormer, his name Aaron Lennon!

He played on one wing and on the other was another young lad by the name of James Milner! Every week they started on opposite wings and usually swapped round at half time. They terrorised every team I saw them play against, as you can imagine they would have done now knowing how good they both are.

So having seen a lot of those two at a young age the next lad I saw come through with huge potential was far, far better than both of those two (as an up and coming youngster) and instead of doing it in the quiet reserve leagues he was doing it in the much more competitive football league one!

    I give you Fabian Delph!

Unfortunate to pick up a serious knee injury at the Villa earlier on in the year, and I’m not totally sure how he was coming on for them at the time? but from what I saw of him for Leeds I reckon this kid will be a regular starting central midfielder for England for many, many years…the lad has got it all!

    Watch this space!

Neither of them jokers are exceptional players, more like an arsenal pansy with very bad hair and an arragant man city twat!!
