Perhaps time to clear the decks and make a fresh start with a new twist to an old favourite.
Selections will be taken from the following races: –
Non Handicaps such as group and listed races, stakes, conditions, claimers, novice and nurseries.
The "Chosen One" will be the forecast favourite taken from the D. Mail (unless stated such as Sunday), providing it has a min. forecast starting price of 2/1.
A finish of 1 – 2 – 3 LTO.
All selections must have previously won over the distance of the race in question. i.e. a "D" in the formline.
The Odds Checker early market should endorse favouritism and no price below 2/1 taken, although it is recognised this may change on the run up to the off.

, Thanks for the comment and I do understand what is said but this system does show some success when they are included – oh dear, could these be "famous last words".
To avoid any continued confusion on THE MAJESTIC thread regarding NURSERY races I thought if I wish to include them it is better to start afresh. However I intend still to show the heading of how the race is described.
Yesterday was a cracker and here’s hoping the trend will continue.

There are better systems out there which will produce more interesting selections than this.
A poor run and lack of opportunities has resulted in my retirement from The Majestic.
It is a sound little idea, the theory is a good one and it deserves freshening up and hope someone has a better use for it and can come up with a twist to improve the selection numbers and results.
