Has not set the world alight to be fair but remains very well treated and after a break can score again.
David Probert can land a quick fire double for David Evans after beating my selection just now.

    MUJID
    Each way
Suited by this extra trip and this ex Dermot Weld runner won over a mile very early on as a youngster. Subsequently handicapped up to the hilt. Dropped over twenty pounds now and makes fourth start for new yard. Top weight in this grade could see a marked improvement now.

    ANGUS DE BULL 🐂
    Each way
Sets alarm bell ringing for me.
Not ideal race as there are not the requisite number of runners for each way betting but a small stakes play will do no harm.
Gone to John o Shea’s stable from Ryan Potter having run exclusively in maiden hurdles against decent quality opposition.
A total sea change in distance means the horse may just be being prepped for bumpers or more hurdles.
Interesting runner from yards adept at landing gambles but no indication that this distance or tonight in such a small field is the night…

    Round up
Two of the Galway selections would have paid place money. MUJID ran a great race set the pace, built up a big lead then was headed, then fought back for second. Clearly gets the trip and could easily step up again. Good to get a David Evans winner in DORA PENNY. Another forecast. AIRSHOW placed.
Angus de Bull will be interesting to watch where he heads next, snatches of ability under Gina Mangan.

    Beverley 2.35
    1st BELON
    2nd BENACRE
    3rd SOUND PRESSURE
    Trifecta

    1st BENACRE
    2nd BELON
    3rd SOUND PRESSURE
    Trifecta
Sound pressure carries a penalty and that should be enough for the other two runners to finish in front here. BENACRE may hold the upper hand being unbeaten but Belon has the least weight.
    Goodwood
    4.45
    CORPORATE RAIDER
    KESSAUER POWER
    Both each way.

The draw info throws up stalls 3 and 5 as regularly featuring in the mix over the years.
The draw bias moves with frequency but no horse has won from double figures since 2008 and stall 1-5 has been the winner in recent years.

I’ve layed Hollaway Boy @ 2.76 – Have doubts whether he’ll show his Ascot form a round course

    Good lay by the way.
I also had doubts of the Chesham form but he has run well today.

I don’t think Goodwood is a course for Holloway Boy, too many turns, he looks more for a straight gallop
great call on Spencer and Maarban btw

    SIR DANCELOT

Gone to new yard and may benefit from the tender handling of Paul Mulrenhan now.
Course and distance winner. Won here twice off huge marks in this race.
Might not be today but no reason why the good times cannot roll again soon….
