The winner of Cobbs corners race up nearly a stone here… He could go in again but you’d have to give the collaborative form a chance here…February 27, 2023 at 16:25 #1637221Already posted

Three runners so far for yard today and just a third place under this jockey in a four runner race netting just £1,822.00. At this rate they’ll not be able to get the ferry back.
Luckily there’s a chap called Sam riding their last runner who is starved of winners when riding out for Gordon Elliott for reasons best known to that yard.
But his record riding away from them is pretty good especially in England and
Giacosa

Has a nice pedigree and just might make the trip worthwhile. Tongue tie applied and has to beat some pretty good opponents here in I am no risk and Lucinda Russell’s Esprit Du Potier last time out course winner. To be fair the wealthy owners of the other three runners have covered the yards costs already. Those two are the main risks….February 27, 2023 at 17:20 #1637224WOLVES 5.30
PRECISION STORM
Win
Is one of several runners from a pretty decent race involving war in heaven recently.
The front runner that night won a class two race at lingfield on Saturday ( outbreak). To be fair they each have different claims as another runner who’d previously faced war in heaven won on Saturday too.
He drops in class and is taken to get home first of these.

THE THAMES BOATMAN
Put up here when winning over course and form well franked by runner up who went up in class easily winning while this runner struggled up in class on turf class three. Excuses then and returns readied for yard which has had a winner tonight and at lingfield on Saturday.
Lacks race fitness but could be different class to these.
Furnicoe for rampant yard beaten favourite four of last five runs and Hayley Turner rides here.February 27, 2023 at 19:25 #16372367.30

DESTINADO
Win
Got very close to Dubai jenius last time but it was a Shetland pony vs a Suffolk punch with the size disparity.
Destinado will need lots of luck in running but has hit a decent level of form and although the stable second string here with Rossa Ryan on the other horse, it might the turn of this likable horse.February 27, 2023 at 20:13 #16372408.30
WURLITZER
Win
Alan king’s runner was a winner here back in September on his previous visit.
Two runs in early Jan and Feb hampered start latest.
Runs were better than bare impression. Rossa Ryan on board will ride this runner patiently stepping up in trip, very well treated.
Non runner passes the baton on to this horse drawn alongside.

RABAAH ( soul selection thread) DESTINADO,THAMES BOATMANMarch 1, 2023 at 10:00 #1637395The day before yesterday was pretty good yesterday not so.
An appraisal of February performance would be not great at all.
Launched Alexander recently and since doing so I have almost ignored it while the results have rolled in.
If nothing else in March I’d like to select mainly on Alexander’s and land some decent winners and some tricasts.
So my target for this month is twenty five winners and five tricasts, that hopefully will work out at six winners a week and 1 tricast a week. And if I can wean things down to five races a day, even better.
March 1, 2023 at 13:15 #1637409With all that in mind sole bets from Hong Kong’s meeting the five furlong dash handicap.

Atomic force has been a major disappointment since coming over to Hong Kong from Kevin Ryan.
He won his maiden at Mussleburgh before winning a two year old group two race at Chantilly. He has been placed on the rock but otherwise has been unspectacular since in about seven starts.
Harry Bentley rides for the first time and the resultant seven pound drop means he just might post a decent run at last.
The main interest to me in this race is Zac Purton’s runner. Season’s wit
This horse win a maiden in Australia on last run and has gone through three barrier trials winning latest by five or six lengths. 1 on turf two on awt.
The fact that it was on the all weather tempers high hopes but the preparation has been thorough and an opening mark of 63 looks about right.
Zac Purton puts up overweight by two pounds here and that will prove significant one way or the other. (He passed 100 winners earlier on in the card and probably had been hoping it would be reached with this runner).

March 1, 2023 at 13:59 #1637413A lovely big priced winner as the two selections go first and second.
February was a tough month for me and whilst I’m not out of the woods yet this helps.
Music helps too and this one is one of my favourites because Bowie wrote it as an art piece as usual and the poetry and lyrics and composition is sublime.
Selections will be few and far between in March as I’m concentrating solely on winners and tricasts through ALEXANDER. That was the first and I’m pleased with that one.March 1, 2023 at 14:22 #1637416Second selection for the month and this is made in the hope that

The wide odds on TOOTHLESS
has made a full recovery and can get back to the standard of wide margin win in yard debut.
Scoped dirty last time after lack lustre display.
The bet is Toothless to win by five + lengths @ 5/6.
Very small stakes.
If he’s back in good shape he would defy the weight rise but that is entirely open to conjecture.Afternoon round up

March 1, 2023 at 22:28 #1637469New approach to Alexander reaped big dividends for the new month. A massive reduction in selections has increased results.
This thread kicked off in Hong Kong
With Kevin Ryan’s group two winner reborn and plying his trade in class 3 handicaps.
Atomic force won @ 28/1. Win selection season’s wit finished second after being overhauled by the patiently ridden group winner handled by Harry Bentley.
Soul selection covered two races at Kempton where Mohi was second @ 22/1 and
ikkari was third @ 15/2
Finally the Alexander thread strongly pinpointed
Elisheva as likely to take advantage of the physics of the race
Won @ 13/2.
I’ve set a target of 25 outright winners this month in addition to any forecasts and tricasts.
