will anybody be taking it upAugust 14, 2015 at 09:58 #1170944Thanks mate for the heads up. I knew rain was forecast but I thought a couple of mm but I couldn’t wait as now I’m in work I had to get the bet on. My selections action suggests cut will be no problem but not sure about that much rain but no stamina or weight issues. The fav will have no problem in it and big whiskey could be a non runner. With the rule 4 I’m on at 4.8/1 great odds…. 7/2 best atm.

Thanks! he won it well, The biggest factor was his improvement went a bit under the radar due to it being soft ground last time out. With my saver Secretinthepark not running I put an extra £34 at 9/2 on with there being a rule4
Theo, Steve Prescott is entered up in the 6f Greys race at Newmarket on Saturday. That is a grade 4 race and he’ll have top weight if he lines up.
I reckon he’d be a shoo in for that one, as it’s an old cuddies race really and he’s been running in, and now won, a better race than this one.
I’ll be keeping an eye on the first odds I can see. Could be a wheelbarrow job!
I strongly fancy Steve Prescott and like the odds of 11/2 available.
I made him a 7/2 shot on my fag packet book.
It took the bookies ages to price this race up and for me Steve Prescott is one of the few with scope here and I would hope he can do the double tomorrow.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

SAVER Almodovar £35 @ 15/8
£24(SJ) + £26(betway) Moonrise landing @ 20/1
Been up against good company throughout his runs and been eased quickly on all occasions apart from when he came 2nd so distances beaten are not exactly accurate. Becketts in form and has a good strike rate at Pontefract the fact that he’s travelling 200 miles and hrs Kingscotes only ride of the day may be significant. The fav could be something but has form against donkeys. Moonrise landing has to go handy in this race for any chance but that’s my only concern.
