Gord: shutthefrontdoor and cantlow at Fairyhouse today, I’m on Daring Article and Heaney with Rich Revival as a back up
April 21, 2014 at 09:58 #476380Gordon, There’s a full brother to Tapestry in the Ballydoyle 2yos this season. They say he’s a possible for the Chesham at Royal Ascot.
This lad is named John F Kennedy so perhaps Joseph would be well advised to steer clear of grassy knolls on the gallops.
One to keep an eye on I would think.
Don’t like to be a ‘knowitall’ but this ‘JFK’ is a full brother to the Derby winner. Hope I’m not pissing on anyone’s parade.
April 21, 2014 at 14:47 #476430Boz, I was posting in good faith after seeing the horse listed among two year olds in training this season. The website of the supposed "Expert" stated:-
25. John F Kennedy (7/2 b c Galileo – Rumplestiltskin (Danehill))
Full brother to Group 1-placed 6-7f 2yo winner (including at Group 2 level) Tapestry
Apologies for the misleading information, it pisses me off when those who reckon they know a thing or two can’t get their bloody facts straight.
As you point out, JFK is actually Ruler Of The World’s full brother. Perhaps that makes it long odds against him following his Bro’s success at Epsom?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
April 21, 2014 at 14:50 #476432Hoping for a Bank Holiday pay day at Redcar today!!
Everything is right, course, jockey and conditions, horse is ready to run for his life and BPG is a nice price in 505
April 21, 2014 at 16:23 #476442I do hope you backed Shutthefrontdoor Gordie Boy.
Value Is EverythingApril 21, 2014 at 20:15 #476468I do hope you backed Shutthefrontdoor Gordie Boy.

Ginge, really? TAPK hasn’t waffled more about a horse all season than
Shutthefrontdoor
,it was one of those races where I just kept clicking BET,BET,BET and I’m sipping on a Bolly now celebrating yet another massive victory.I looked at the field earlier this week and said 4/1,different class,10/1 this morning was like Xmas.Have to say though Ginger old boy I expected an easier win from him bearing in mind I’ve told you already he is a Gold cup horse for next year.I know thats way too far for you to think ahead but take it from me he’s going to be a serious horse this fellow he’s just a big baby at the moment.
Oh what a damn shame I’ve just realised I haven’t put him up on here today, bloody King of aftertiming me!
April 21, 2014 at 20:29 #476471Oh what a damn shame I’ve just realised I haven’t put him up on here today, bloody King of aftertiming me!

I thought you might have backed him Gordie.

Doesn’t look as though you have the confidence to put up any bet on this thread these days.

That’s not something I’d know about Gordie Boy; it’s the xxxxers that lie about you without a hint of humour I don’t like.
Value Is EverythingApril 22, 2014 at 14:57 #476533Ginge nobodys taken the abuse I’ve had on here and survived, its a Mans Forum this, not for the faint hearted. You know I’m looking forward to a big hug from you on Lockinge day and we’ll share a Ginger beer with the lads on here…..Imagine if C4 cameras caught us having a massive TRF punch up,just a thought would be good publicity for Cormack.
April 22, 2014 at 20:29 #476571As you know I do not like getting involved during mid-week racing especially early doors BUT 2 of my favourite flat tracks have meets tomorrow and I have found a few for doubles and EW trebles:
200 Catt – Chosen One (single win too)
325 Eps – Resurge (single win too)
435 Eps – Mime Dance
520 Catt – Thrust Control3 are CD winners and I believe 2 are coming back in an attempt to win the same races again, Resurge loves his home Epsom and goes very well fresh, Chosen One races off a lower mark than when winning last year and yard are hopefully just coming into form, Mime Dance is a punt from my fav yard who likes the course and looks like the extra furlong will suit and Thrust Control is thrown in on last seasons course form
, well that’s how I see it lol no doubt none will place!!April 22, 2014 at 20:32 #476574Good to see you back Gary, how was your holiday in the sun? And more importantly hows the back?
Good luck with your ‘Doubles’
April 22, 2014 at 21:37 #476584Awesome cheers mate, sun worked wonders as did Barry Geraghty at Fairyhouse

Looking forward to Sandown this weekend and after watching all the Cheltenham reruns have decided to chance Vautour for next years CH, I believe UDS will go chasing and we know Mullins will NEED a new flag bearer

Resurge will go very well and I believe Chosen One is ready to go very close and the money will come!!

Have you seen resurg’s form with 10+ runners? Very discouraging.
April 25, 2014 at 09:28 #476765TAPK has only just got back from a little Sortie to London town and like a Bee drawn to a Daisy I’m always lured into Soho.London is the cultural capital of the world,it really is buzzing.I was born in the ‘Smoke’ and can always remember sitting between the Lions legs on Trafalgar sq as a 5yo.45yr later It was my daughters turn to do the same thing, thats how sentimental I am.What has always appealed to me about our great Capital is the architecture,no question its the best in the world and the Romanesque design of the Natural History Museum appealed to me more than the bloody Dinosaurs who inhabit it.Having walked from our base in Leicester Sq yesterday morning to Buck House through St James Park into Westminster and Big Ben,something ‘Belle’ was keen to see,we then strolled down the embankment past the unbelievably busy London Eye back down to the Underground which has always been the unpleasant part of any London Trip.Of course having seen the sights it was time for me to spend a couple of hours just chilling in Covent garden outside one of my fav bars ‘Tuttons’.Hard life I know as its time to pop up to Donny to see more historical architecture in
Tax Free
and the not so old

April 26, 2014 at 08:45 #476889If ‘Bury Parade’ can give a stone to
Burton Port
today then I’m not the legendary judge of horseflesh the world thinks I am.Its always a sad day when the Jumps season finishes with the Whitbread but the flat as notoriously tricky as it is and its getting trickier every year throws the glimmer of hope another superstar could emerge from the Guineas meeting next week.
Reflections from another brilliant Jumps seasons though and as night turns to day AP McCoy yet again proves he’s in a class of his own,had he got the slightly enigmaticMy Tent or yours
head in front in the Champion hurdle then that would have been my highlight of the season for sure, nonetheless TAPK takes great pleasure from being the first person in the universe to say that this fellow was a serious Champion hurdler before the Official handicapper had even given him a mark of 149
Next season I go into battle with 20/1 vouchers saying he will excel at what he’s built for and thats jumping fences, there’s only one race for him so from an Ante-Post perspective that suits brilliantly,he’s still available at 12/1 and that will go when news of his schooling sessions are made public.Everyone who reads my nonsense knows that my whole year is aimed at the Cheltenham festival and like a sniper under cover of the night my aim is deadly.Taquin du Seuil
proved that,I knew the moment he was declared to run at Ffos Las back in October he was ‘Jewson’ bound,of course the usual smoke screens are put up but I have the vision of the Six Million dollar man, some say I am Bionic but I dont suffer from personality disorders myself.I said even earlier that
Shutthefrontdoor
is a Gold cup horse for the future and time will prove me right again, his form with
Holywell
has worked out just like I anticipated,I’m again sitting on Ante-Post vouchers for 100/1 and 50/1 respectively but hey what do you expect from someone called ‘The legendary Ante-Post King’? No its been a brilliant season and already I’m looking forward to counting down all those hours to the next one.
April 26, 2014 at 10:48 #476926Good old London Town Gord, I too was born there and love visiting also but sadly could never live there again!!
Vautour chances in CH? I’ve followed you with MTOY and have backed Holywell at massive prices for Gold Cup

Today I have remained loyal to Keltus and hope the Cheltenham form holds up, Stuck with Roalco but purely out of loyalty!! A dark one to check out is Cullotys Varxom in the last at 20s who could go well
good luck today mate - AuthorPosts
