Hmmmm the O’Meara yard are under the impression Fallon is riding for them!! Shame if he opts for Hoof It and is pipped by Louis
July 31, 2013 at 23:52 #447139I spy with my little eye something beginning with…
(Clues: Ebor, more middling hot weather.)
Might do it in a trixie with Hoof It and Hot Snap, boss, if a bookie offers all three at a.p. prices. Too late and too tired to look the noo.

Gary I love the Stewards Cup and have been backing
Hoof it
for the past fortnight at 25/1,I saw enough at York to tell me this fellows on his way back,if he turns up anywhere near his old self he is a massive player. He’s won the race off 111 and now he’s on 112,he’s got his mate Kieren back on board and at 20/1 he’s a bloody good thing to be placed at least in the 5 on offer with Bet365.I remember going overboard on here about
Evens and Odds
a few years ago and I’m doing the same on this fellow this year.I’ll go as far to say if
Hoof it
goes off 20/1 on Saturday I’ll change my name to ‘GaylordlovesGinger’.TAPK is bullish and have gone in again tonight.Lets hope Lee Westwoods horse only has to go through the motions to win……….Bit like Lee!!
Hoof It
£100 e/w 20/1 Bet365 5 places
£100 e/w 20/1 Betfred 4 places.Big fan of Hoof it even though he has burned a hole in my pocket! I too grabbed the 20/1 that was available last night on WH and this afternoon he’s down to 14’s on WH and 11/1 on Paddy. Really hope the lad can hit his great form or 2 summers ago, at least it’d mean Westwood would have won something of note this summer!

You fancy ‘Sun Central’ Grimes do you? I wouldn’t put you off that ones chances but the handicapper might just have him now! I cant split
Opinion
and
Stencive
myself, over 1m 6f I might just favour the former but at 10/1 and 12/1 respectively I’ve backed the pair of them both solid e/w prices for horses who look targeted for the race imo.
August 2, 2013 at 17:53 #447382Right c’mon who were the numpties on here that made the most over-rated horse in training the 3/1 fav for the Goodwood cup yesterday??
The horse blatantly proved he’s a jibber of the highest rank.I cant believe Jamie was still taking a pull at the 3 pole as if he expected ‘Mount Athos’ to take off when he let out a reef!Brown Panther
was a worthy winner proving he just wasn’t right last year, particularly against Jibberorooney on one occasion.I do hope ‘Mount Athos’ doesn’t go back to Australia for a repeat tilt at the Melbourne Cup as his form just isn’t good enough!!
August 3, 2013 at 12:41 #447519TAPK’s got powder to burn today and I’m going in hard,a fine chilled Grand Cru Chablis will help us through the afternoon. No need to explain my first bet of the day……….
Tax Free
£50 e/w 5places Bet 365 16/1 Goodwood 2,05pm.
August 3, 2013 at 13:24 #447528You cant help but like ‘Sky Lantern’ as a filly, she ticks all the boxes but so too did
Hot snap
after her Nell Gwyn victory over the Grey and I saw the Cecil filly as an Oaks horse,I also think this trip of 11/4m will suit her better than the fav and if she’s back to her spring form then she is the one to beat,I’ve taken 9’s on the machine but will settle for the 7/1 today.
Hot snap
£100 e/w 7/1 Bet365 Nassau Stakes.
August 3, 2013 at 14:29 #447531Oh dear what was Hughsey thinking of there! Not Tom Queallys finest ride either mind! Over to Doncaster for another Cecil horse in the well bred Grey
Cosmic Curious
.This fellows bred to get a trip so lets see plenty pace on here.
Cosmic curious
£100 win 4/1 Corals.Doncaster 3,35pm.
August 3, 2013 at 14:48 #447536Its all about
Hoof it
for me here and I’m not backing anything else in the race! We’ll see if the winning combination of Fallon and Horse still have what it takes to win one of the seasons best sprint Handicaps.
August 3, 2013 at 15:09 #447540Back to Doncaster for the 4,10pm and I know this ‘World Domination’ hasn’t lived up to his name but at 20’s on the machine he’s worth an interest.I’m not having ‘Lahaag’,Gosdens Lincoln horse at 9/4 either, the horse that I like here is
Fennel Bay
,he’s a tough sort who could stretch this field if he’s given an easy lead.
Fennel Bay
£50 e/w 12/1 Skybet Doncaster 4,10pm.
August 3, 2013 at 16:41 #447547Not a great day, had Winsili small EW and rfc with Hot Snap who ran greener than ever, she will win a nice race next season for sure!
Last bet of the day sees William Haggas sending a maiden all the way up to Hamilton with the talented Philip Makin in the saddle, looks a weak event and this one could win easily
August 3, 2013 at 23:45 #447590I’d forgotten how inglorious Goodwood can be from the betting angle. A so-and-so of a course, requiring too much luck of the draw, early position, running, etc, imo. Give me Ascot, York, Haydock, Doncaster, any day.
Or am I talking through my pocket?
A simple, ‘Yes’ will do, thank you. Mockery, hollering and cat-calls will not be appreciated.

Yes, Gordon, that Opinion ran a blinder in that Gold Cup, didn’t he – although Colour Vision has been a major disappointment so far. I wonder what’s happened to him.
I’ll need to look at Stencive’s form again. He’s been mentioned in the press a lot, I believe, recently, for different races.
August 4, 2013 at 20:10 #447666Just to continue the Losing theme from yesterday,I really fancied the ‘Mastercraftsman’ colt
Nezar
today and guess what he gets mugged on the line.Thats racing, the highs and lows.If there’s a lesson to be learned from betting like an idiot its not to! How many times have you backed a winner, something you really fancied for a while and you’ve collected at tasty Odds, only to blow the lot betting for bettings sake thereafter. Then when you sit down and dissect your bets it turns out you’ve put more on one later that you never had any intention of betting the night before than you did your actual Winner!! We’ve all done it and you just cant bet like that if you want to succeed at this game long term.I specialise in long range wagers and have done well over the years,I have some tasty wagers lined up for plenty future races including
My Tent or Yours
at 33/1 for the Champion hurdle but my next big lift will come from the Arc and
Flintshire
,in between now and then I’ll try not to lose stupidly!
August 5, 2013 at 12:38 #447694Gord what you think of win by Rex in stewards cup i was on hoof it this time i was gutted.
What you think of Prescott horse PALLSATOR could return in the ebor and up there in market.
Also on jumping theme though he lost did you see DEVILS BRIDE in bumper and previous 2wins.Also like MADE IN GERMANY both look top prospects when they go jumping.

I saw this
Pallasator
at Leicester last year and he certainly didn’t look like an Ebor horse then, his final outing on soft ground was far more taking and if the same amount of Improvement can be ‘teased’ from him again now you never know Darren. I like the breeding of this
Devils Bride
too,he looks a fine scopey sort and even though he finished 4th at Galway he’s still the best horse in that race.I haven’t seen
Made in Germany
but I’ll have a look.Well done on winning at Golf Darren though I’ll get a win from ‘Nick Watney’ one of these days!
