I’ve backed Justwhateverulike each way @ 10/1
I feel he has an excellent chance here today. Back to back wins at Kelso one over todays distance. He has winning form on good/ good to firm so todays conditions are ideal. Ayr should suit as it suits horses that are strong galloping types. His trainer was tilting at windmills last time out and had no chance at the weights, now back in his own class he is the one to beat.
Fiftyfive degress is the obvious danger lightly raced and may well defy the 5ib rise but back up in class here today and price way too short for an interest.
Royal Mackintosh is a Carlisle specialist not so sure he is as good this way round and ground all wrong for him today.
El Bandindos is an unknown, runs well fresh and will handle to ground but cant really see what he has done, the chase he won at Uttoxeter was much lower class than this and they hardly jumped a fence so hardly solid form.
Cateregorical won a much lower class race easily when dropped a long way in the handicap to his lowest ever chase mark, now hammered by the handicapper he is back up to his highest ever chase mark!
March 12, 2010 at 15:32 #281930I’ve backed 55 Degrees, the trainer does extremely well with her runners at Ayr.
March 12, 2010 at 15:37 #281934Also backed Camden George each way, think 16/1 is a big price and is back down to a lenient mark, think the good to firm ground will be in his favour as well.
March 12, 2010 at 16:09 #281951Got to admit I thought Categorical had no chance! way off there…
At least I got placed with Justwhateverulike.
March 12, 2010 at 17:04 #28196155 Degrees 2nd and Camden George 4th, no luck there! Categorical appreciated the fast ground, with the good ground coming at last there’s a lot of value out there choosing the ones best suited, some at a very good price indeed.
