The judge if you look at page 4 of 1000 guineas thread you see that i said MINDING will improve past Ballydoyle and is the better horse. after she lost to Ballydoyle i even suggested to gord after she won maiden that she be a be guineas filly but he felt she beat trees in maiden and time not fast.

MOONLIGHT MAGIC a horse i waiting makes debut in maiden tomorrow though i wish it was at a 1m not 7f a bonus if he wins but hope he runs well.

I put my o’brien horses to look out for earlier in thread

O’Brein runs Johannes Vermeer at tipperary today in 7f maiden

Finn McCool, full brother to Roderic O Connor and name ties in with Giant’s Causeway

Idaho, cost 750,000 Guineas and full brother to Highland Reel

San Francisco full brother to Tapestry and John F Kennedy

These are the ones that caught my eye in the early run through the O’Brien colts.

They are all Galileo but he is the sire doing the business. Obviously John F Kennedy hasn’t been anywhere near the expectations this year and I prefer to see them run first before having any thoughts of next year.

Johannes Vermeer was well beaten today and the O’Brien stable have had a few short ones beaten recently. Yet another Jim Bolger winner in that race and she was only seventh of eight in the same maiden where Ballydoyle made her debut the time before. Just a bit of a concern with the O’Brien team for me at the moment with these shorties getting turned over. Jim Bolger almost certainly has a nice batch this year.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Minding not only 2yo to shine in recent days.

AIR FORCE BLUE look awesome in Dewhurst looks like he not get beat unless we get soft ground next may which could happen

HIT IT A BOMB was very good at Dundalk and as big as 9/1 for Breeders cup Juvilnile to big of a price at Coral. And think he a really smart colt.

IDAHO was impressive maiden winner along with COOK ISLANDS who won really well bot be exciting horses for next year.

FIRST VICTORY won at Newmarket still unbeaten she is both wins at Newmarket be a each way bet for 1000 guineas as long she not go to Dubai.

MR KHALID was a very taking winner at Nottingham today he pulled a bit in early part of race but once settle he took them apart in fine style

Steve,Gord,Trip any thoughts on horses above

Not you as well as O’Brien. Where in the same of jumping Jehovah does this idea come from that Air Force Blue needs top of the ground? Is Obi-wan-ken-AOB performing some sort of Jedi mind trick?

Asoct Good to Firm GROUP 2 – beaten 2L.
    Curragh Good GROUP 1 – wins 2L.
    Curragh Yielding GROUP 1 – wins 3L.
Newmarket Good (Good to Soft in places) GROUP 1 – wins 3.25L.

    Pre Dewhurst:-

“Emotionless is far stronger in the Dubai Dewhurst Stakes betting than Air Force Blue, with William Hill having taken seven times as many bets on Charlie Appleby’s favourite,” said firm spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

    Pre-pre-Dewhurst

That looked a Guineas winner in waiting with Airforce Blue today. Did it in the style you would want, a la Gleneagles, coming right through to go away.

Buratino has perhaps stopped improving now and has too many runs for my liking to be a Guineas contender. Just something about Mark Johnston that doesn’t inspire me to back his horses for Classics.

Some 16/1 left on Oddschecker for Airforce Blue but I doubt you will be entertained at those odds. I would take anything 10/1 or bigger. He looks the best contender by some way to my eyes for Newmarket in May. A fine stamp of a colt who will go on progressing and a worthy favourite for the 2000 Guineas now.

As John Lydon once said “Never mind the B0110CK5, here’s Air Force Blue”

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Also tatling i think reason why he keeps saying it because War front colts need fast ground but as you say this one acts on soft to. may be even better on faster ground

Sorry Darren but I am done here now. Just a few ripostes on older threads to highlight the “Failed tipster, one trick pony and Pansy” jibes being made.

Sorry Darren I’ve only just seen this….
I have only seen First Victory and Air Force Blue run on TV as I couldn’t make the Dewhurst Meeting last week.
With First Victory it has to be a plus that she has won twice on the course where she will run in the 1000 Guineas and she acts on Good and Good/Soft. She is quite a small filly and looks like she has some growing to do so could be even better in 2016 but could she beat Minding???

Minding won her race on the same day over 8 furlongs on G/Soft Ground in
    1m 37.87 (slow by 2.87)
First Victory won hers over 7 furlongs on G/Soft Ground in
    1m 26.39 (slow by 3.89)
Air Force Blue won the Dewhurst over 7 furlongs the next day on Good Ground in
    1m 25.34 (slow by 2.84)

I’m no expert in timings and I don’t swear by them but I think it shows, what everyone knows, that Minding would have the beating of First Victory at this moment in time. However it depends how both fillies winter and progress into next season.

Still a few key races to come, keep posting up those fancies Darren…Jac :good:

I liked him Darren he’s a nice looking 2yo, but I liked Dermot Weld’s Embiran better, just a bit further and he would have beaten him and I would have been worried if I’d taken the 4/6 about him.
Moonlight Magic is down to run in a listed race on Sunday 25th at Leopardstown and holds entries in the Irish 2000 Guineas and The Derby.
Embiran just holds a Derby entry at present so we may not see him again this year.
Will be interesting to see how they both progress into next season.

Some nice 2yos at Newmarket where MOOTAHARER and PRIZE MONEY were impressive maiden winners looks like Prize Money go for Feilden stakes next year. While Mootaharer looks more a 1m2 horse any thoughts on them

Also MOONLIGHT MAGIC runs on sunday a bit quick after maiden win it is be nice to see how he does.

Also PIETRO TESTA and BRAVERY make there debuts in 2yo maiden at Leopardstown to

Also got 2yo maidens today at Newbury and Doncaster which look decent races

Horris hill at Newbury i think CRAZY HORSE a decent type can win this for Godsen

In racingpost trophy i think JOHANNES VERMEER one to be on

Alamode stands out for me at Newbury in the 3.35 tomorrow she’s run 3 times against an impressive supporting cast. She beat Winter Rose by a head at Goodwood with Promising Run in 3rd (winner at Newmarket NTO). 4th to La Rioja in her maiden and 2nd to First Victory LTO at Newmarket where she was denied a clear run.

Crazy Horse looks good in the Horris Hill Darren, owned and bred by Mrs Gosden and will be ridden by Robert Havlin as Frankie will be riding Foundation at Doncaster in the Racing Post Trophy, and was tipped up some time ago at around 7/4 by Steve Caution now trading around even money..good luck Steve :good: Jac

Forgot to add I do like Royal Reserve trading around 12/1 (each way) in the Horris Hill. He’s bypassed the Racing Trophy to come here instead and was eased when running away from recent Newmarket winner Mootaharer LTO.
