Please tell me if you disagree but if you go back and watch the race. It seems to me that Paul Maloney gives Timesawastin a very strange ride. He seems to let the horse drift back through the field and visually looks IMO to be rowing the horse as appose to pushing the horse. The horse then stays on finishing 3rd with what appears to be a relatively fresh horse. You can’t see the latter stages as the camera man naturally focus on the leaders. Now the horse was heavily backed and I wonder if the cat was out the bag before connections got what they wanted on. Similar if not as obvious with Copper Birch in the 2:55 at Chepstow another horse heavily backed only to fall short. Strangely the next Williams runner drifts from 5/2 – 9/2 only to win. Every cloud though as think Timesawastin will win very soon and won’t be missing it. Any views would be appreciated but watch the race first.

no doubt needed the run, back from a 150-day break.
He put in a improved performance on the clock earning a speed figure of92
(best
109
), his last 3 completed speed figures being
79
,
39
&
86
.
As he hadn’t finished in 2 previous runs,
Copper Birch
showed improved form earning a speed figure of
83
(best
89
).
One thing I will add isCopper Birch
is certainly not a
OR 120
rated horse in my book.

October 26, 2014 at 22:36 #493558Thanks for the reply Mike.
Think he has some decent horses Court Minstral and Buywise (Paddypower winner) to name two and think he is the stable I am going to base my selections on this year along with Rebecca Curtis when BG is on board.
Maloney has an impressive 22.22% strike rate for 2014 from 140 rides. Level stakes profit of £20.16 (£1 stake)
What system do you use for betting and do you make a profit from the game?
December 8, 2014 at 20:58 #497916Timesawastin put in a significantly improved performance at Newbury the other week as expected and just touched off by the improving Ned Stark.
