possibly not the greatest subject of discussion for UK, even without the heavy ground prompting withdrawals, but HKJC is simulcasting the day so a detailed racecard and video replays available here:

most interesting perhaps is Winx aiming for her 24th consecutive win in the George Ryder (second race, 03:45 UK time).

It seems increasingly unlikely that Winx will ever travel outside of Australia which I guess means she’ll keep mopping up weak G1s down under. It’s the owner’s prerogative to do what they like with their horse, but she surely has nothing left to prove in Australia. Ultimately now they either choose to pursue sporting glory or easy prize money.
