And if Vintage Clouds is running then he’s my second bet in this
December 21, 2017 at 21:47 #1333383He’s running barring injury
I know, i can always be hopeful they dont though
December 22, 2017 at 00:30 #1333407With the state of my book, I can afford to add at least one more, and if by some stroke of luck (unlikely I know) that Regal Encore swerved Ascot, I would hope to add more. I think he’ll go Ascot, but I can live in hope.
I’m as well waiting now for final decs, but I will definitely be adding Russe Blanc, and looking at the likes of Ask The Weatherman, O’Faolains Boy, and Houblon Des Obeaux as well.
December 22, 2017 at 01:19 #1333413Botchy and Degaussed, Baywing isn’t heading here now, Nicky Richards is diverting
him to the Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby on Boxing Day. William Hill are a stand out
12/1 if you are interested.December 22, 2017 at 05:53 #1333416My 2 for this are Wild West Wind and
Final Nudge.
December 22, 2017 at 05:56 #1333417Can anybody tell me why Ask The Weatherman is so short in the betting. There’s no obvious form to go on. Is he a hype horse?
December 22, 2017 at 09:09 #1333428Shame that BigG, and thanks for the heads up. Gone in on the 12’s for Wetherby
My god, what has happened to Billy’s website. Never known a website so hard to navigate around
December 22, 2017 at 10:22 #1333434I’m going with Vicente at 12/1.
I was impressed with his seasonal reappearance at Cheltenham. Ran well in this last year having not had the best prep.
December 22, 2017 at 15:07 #1333475Regal Encore in at Ascot tomorrow as expected, so I can only add one more now.
If the going remains as is, then it’ll definitely be Russe Blanc, but I’ll hold fire for now.

He was 9/10 in point to points but has just the three starts under rules.
It’s a long way from a Class 3 (0-130) at Exeter to The Welsh National though. He was giving weight to horses rated in the 110’s and 120’s last last time and faces much better opposition here.
I don’t fancy him at all because it’s a totally different test for him now. Yes, he has stamina but he’s been winning very weak races at short odds and this could be a culture shock for him.
Not for me anyway.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
December 25, 2017 at 22:14 #1333973Rock The Kasbah for me too in this, I just wish he had a few pounds less. I’ll have a saver on the day on Wild West Wind as well.
December 25, 2017 at 23:54 #1333983Really hoped they would send chase the spud straight to the national, if he wins this he will have to much weight, will get out if he wins, but 10/1 will do fine for this
Will have a little on mysteree @ 12/1 as thats another from my national book running here
December 26, 2017 at 10:38 #1334016Bonny Kate & Regal Encore the only two withdrawals, so Buckhorn Timothy and Milansbar sneak in.
No Russe Blanc then, which means I have another to find, though I might just quit while I’m ahead as well.
Left with these at the moment.
Folsom Blue 33’s Ew
Rock The Kasbah 14’s Win
Mysteree Ew 20’s
Beware The Bear 38’s to 48’s (Laid)Be good to add another though, but eyes everywhere this morning.
December 26, 2017 at 11:21 #1334028I’ve already backed Wild West Wind for this. Likes the track and relatively unexposed going into this off the back of a decent year. Ciaran Gethings takes off 3 pounds.
December 26, 2017 at 13:36 #1334055My fancy for this, BAYWING, headed for the Roland Meyrick instead. I took the 12s for him in that
so hoping he can put up a good show today. I left this alone until the final decs, and have lost
quite a few points in the process, but I think that FOLSOM BLUE is worth a go here.
Generally between 8s and 10s, but Betvictor go 11s so I’ll have a few quid on with them. The 2m 6 1/2f
last time at Navan was on the short side for him, he was running on again after it had got a bit quick
for him, this looks more up his street. 33s looks terrific value now Bobby, good luck with thatI’m also keeping an eye on SIR MANGAN, his 2nd to Beer Goggles doesn’t look too bad now.
He’s at the right end of the handicap, and in decent form having won last time out at Bangor. A 4lb rise
doesn’t seem too harsh for that. Plenty of 25s available, if he looks to be shortening, or if someone chances
33s, I’ll grab the price.December 26, 2017 at 13:52 #1334061Mysteree, HBO and Bishops Road for me.

I want to back Wild West Wind too but what slightly concerns me is this will turn into an absolute slog (well I guess it always does) and i wonder if that will suit him
but the stable is in form had the second in the king george today
