The two I’m happy to have a crack at are REMARKABLE (11/1)
    and WITHERNSEA (25/1).

I think Remarkable ran a good race in the Hunt Cup, running on well at the
end, and that last week’s run at Newbury should have him primed for this.
I just wished I’d got the 25/1 that Kris took…..well done sir :good:

Withernsea has been a bit of a favourite of mine for a while, he doesn’t
pop up too often, but he looked quite well with a gutsy win at Newbury
back in May. Forget his last 2 runs, he didn’t have his ground.
He’ll be more at home on the ground today and I think he’s decent value
    at 25/1.

    I don’t normally have a 3rd, but I can’t resist having a couple of quid
on STAMPHILL at 50/1 6 place PP. He’s been pretty much
out of form since his last win at Doncaster in September last year, but
his mark has fallen considerably, and he’s running off the same mark (90)
as he had back then. He’s got a squeak of a chance at 50/1.

    Crazy race B-)

My dart went to Johnny Barnes at 33s… but I also got some money on:
    Fastnet Tempest at 8s
    Remarkable at 11s
    Squats at 25s

    Good to luck to everyone!!!

Cheers Bobby and botchy, heart was in my mouth a bit, I didn’t even notice Withernsea came in
3rd too until after the race I was concentrating on him so much. That’s cheered me up no end :good:

I had a couple of pounds on him after reading your comment. Why not at such a high price! Thanks! :good:
Johnny Barnes ran a super race and got placed which was also nice

    :yahoo: Brilliant Graham :yahoo:
I can never get Richard Fahey right he’s just popped in a 14/1 winner at Newmarket now, what a day he’s having.I

I saw this fella in the paddock for the Bunbury a few weeks back and he was playing up a bit so guess that’s why he got the blinkers fitted today..they certainly did the trick.

Well done you :rose: …shame you didn’t have a non runner in Pat’s Handicap compy.

Well done Mrs Raymo too, cakes all over the place in the Raymo household.

Thanks Jac, the thing is I noticed him first when I looked a couple of days ago,
and toyed with putting him in Pat’s compy, but at least I had Withernsea as the
e/w selection, so not a disaster. I bombed out in the competitions, except for
Al Qahwa in Bob’s, who finished 2nd at 9/1. I had him e/w at 12s and Withernsea
at 25s e/w, so all in all it was a bloody decent day in the BigG household :good:
