Hopped on too after reading this, very well played. Stonking GN prospect at 40/1 too. Gone in strong. Should be half that.

Don’t want to after time but I also had the winner. Hadn’t seen a thread on this until now.

It’s my nap on the ‘three horses to win today’ competition today though if that’s allowed?

    Anyway well done winners.

    Taken 25s for the National

Thanks, folks and well done to Darren and Charlie.

Take 40s that for National for it will soon be gone. Tongue Tie has made a real difference and he can only go on from here

40s is a silly price for a horse that ticks a heck of a lot of buttons. Well worth a bet.

So don't run, just like the others always do

Thanks VTC , he lost ground constantly jumping out to the right but OFA was a worthy winner. Congrats to all his backers

One For Arthur appeals at 10/1. Ran well in the Becher doing his best work toward the finish.

    Good luck all

Simply put Joe but didn’t he catch the eye at Aintree? You have found a National ‘dark horse’ today, well played.

Thanks, Gord. Just watched it again. He’s turned for home just about on the bridle, been a bit careless two out and jumped the last like a fresh horse. Fox was overly hard on him on the run-in and I wonder if the stewards had a word.

Fox said he hadn’t wanted to be so far back but the horse got his backend knocked by the faller at the second. It didn’t look bad at first viewing angle, but coming away he seemed to go half sideways. After five out, he made his ground up very smoothly to the extent he almost found himself in front too soon.

Fox seemed to believe today would be enough to get him in at Aintree. We’ll see. Strong prospect, no question.

Good performance by the winner and Houblon Des Obeaux ran encouragingly enough for me, staying on well at the end. Interested to see if he’s dropped another pound or left alone on the strength of that performance.

A lovely performance from the winner + Aintree will surely be the plan now as already discussed. Really well done to those who backed him.

Racingorchid that must have been a bittersweet each way for you, but a really big call regardless. Well done
