SIGNIFICANT FORM for me at 8/1. Trainer has won this three times, each with a similar profile to Significant Form in that they won the Miss Grillo. Has a decent draw, shouldn’t be unsuited by the pace of the race.

The ATR tipster isn’t worried by the draw. They have tipped September and next bested Rushing Fall from box 11.

Who is normally Chad Brown’s first choice jockey by the way?

The Racing Post tip Now You’re Talking a maiden after five starts. The person behind that tip has got either:-

    A) One Crystal Ball

    or

    B) Two Very Large Brass Ones

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

As I said another thread I really fancy chad Brown’s SIGNIFICANT FORM in this and have backed it at 10/1 .
I also think Madeline could run a big race at a big price 22/1 (Four Places)she has six furlong speed and a good draw in four! :good: :good:

Happily is skinny for me here.

In the Lagardere it seemed that her stamina won the day on the soft ground. This will be very different here and averaging 7/2 now I can’t have her. September is another who may find it all happening too fast, so I went with Rushing Fall, who is 4/1 and 9/2 in a place.

I would imagine Rushing Fall will be shorter on the US odds.

Rushing Fall for the home win.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

I agree Steve and have backed Rushing Fall at 4/1. I was very impressed with her last time out and has had nowhere near as hard a season as Happily.

I really quite fancy her to do the business.

13/8 one of Happily and September winning, worth taking imo.

Well done backers of the winner

Stupidly had a late poke at it after saying I wouldn’t get involved for the entire meeting as far toO many unknowns for a punter like myself… and backed Happily. FFS :negative:

September is a thorough stayer who finds a while to get fully wound up and has all her best form on over a straight 7 furlongs/mile on the open expanses of Ascot and Newmarket.

So who on earth at Ballydoyle thought she was the ideal filly to send to run at a course with the circumference of a merry-go-round?

The distance/track had 0 to do with her getting beat it was purely leaving he stalls if she broke properly she would have won, was an excellent decision to send her as she clearly would have won

    Congrats on the win

Got a decent run out of Best Performance for a place. Sadly I was in deeper on Happily though!

Really good run from September, who must be the one to take out of the race. Hopefully she trains-on and gets her ground next year. Can fillies run in the UAE Derby? Could be plenty of value in a little pick-up there before the Guineas and Oaks IMO>

I’ve just watched it again and I don’t think you can say 100% September should have won. I also looked back at the Fillies Mile and she was one of the slowest away there too. If you pause it when she’s fully out of the stalls she’s lost about 1 1/2 lengths on the runner-up today but that filly effortlessly extends her advantage whereas September has to be vigorously ridden to go the early pace.

Nonetheless, it would have been nice to see her break evenly and if she trains on she must have an outstanding chance in the Oaks M_O_M so best of luck there. If you told me now I could own one filly from that race you’d have to chose September with an eye onto next year.

When European horses lose these races it’s very rare that it’s because they’re inferior. I’m a believer that if you ran these turf races on any conventional English track that the American horses would be heavily beaten.

Cheers, these last two runs from her have really got me excited about next year now.

As long as Aiden is as focused for her as a middle distance filly as I am, I’ve no doubts she will relish the trip.

Just got to hope she stays sounds over the winter now.
