    Thanks everyone. I haven’t seen the race, fell asleep on the couch.

    I’ll try to catch a replay somewhere.

    Nice to see Hoof It and G Force running well, they were in the doldrums for ages.

    From Nameitwhatyoulike’s race analysis comments it sounded like he gave it a good go before running out of puff a bit.

    You would think Brando’s new mark will mean his handicap days are over and as a 4yo May foal he could have more improvement as a sprinter and hold his own in Group races next season.

    He saved my bacon on an otherwise disappointing day.

    Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

    Well done Steve. My mate also backed Brando for different reasons to you. He has a son called Brandon. He’s now 1-0 up on me in the Ayr Gold Cup :wacko:
