Just in the process of putting together a Spreadsheet to try to get an overview of where we all are at the moment in the compy, and seeing Hot Fuss’s post it made me think that if we all posted our up to date scores in a similar manner it would make life a little (or a lot) easier for the scorers.

Below is a template which could be copied and pasted and would help a great deal to get the Spreadsheet together as it’s taking a bit longer than I thought..Jac

    My scores so far:-

    TRIPTYCH

    TOTAL
    Points Staked
    out of MAX 70

    49

    Score to date 14/11/13

    Points Staked
    Set Races
    50 points available

    45

    Points Staked
    Comp Races
    out of 8
    (16 points availale)

    4

    Bonus Points
    Used so far
    on Compulsory
    races 4 points
    as per rules

    0

    Summary:

5 points remaining to stake in set races
12 points remaining in compulsory races
4 bonus points for compulsory races (as per rules on Page 1)
    **************************************

If we can all update our scores so far it will help Ginger and others to get the final results out quicker.

The SUMMARY could then be copied and pasted to all new bets and updated as we go along, save keep trolling back through pages of Posts to see where we are.

    Good luck and thanks
    Jac

I have got all the info as you set out above from when I did the recent leaderboard so I don’t mind doing it on a regular basis (maybe every 2-3 weeks depending on how many bets are placed by everyone) and if that’s ok with Ginge. This way everyone’s scores are in the same post so would that make it easier to copy over to the spreadsheet.

That would be great if you could do something like that Pat. Far more regularly than I could possibly manage.

Would you rather TRFers just put their bets down one by one from now on Pat, or quote their whole ante-post account every time they have a bet? Entirely up to you.

    Many Thanks

I don’t really mind Mark, I have got everything written down and updated after every race so it’s up to members how they want to do it but I guess if everyone quotes their whole account then we have another back up that can be easily referred to if required.

My spreadsheet is a bit basic but I am going back to my old notes to make work better. initially I thought I had run out of points to continue but your update made me realise I was still in with a small chance to make a profit  and I now, at last, have my head around the rules.

I have just done a double check on your scores, I make your current total +15.25. On your calculations when Tominator won you added on 14 points whereas I think it should have been 15. Let me know if you agree. Thanks.
