Well done Andrew03 and Mark and whoever else backed the winner. We all learned a lesson.
Murtagh’s a confident man who rarely gets the pace judgement wrong – arguably under rated

Well done Andrew, and all who backed him…. we’ll consider ourselves Educated
Johnny Murtagh can do no wrong at the moment. Felt sorry for my friend who was at Newmarket today who backed the fast finishing Code of Honor at 16/1, he’s definitely one for the notebook NTO.All mine decided to play truant but I managed to get 4th place with Graphic the only one of Haggas’ 6 entries to get in the frame.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 29, 2013 at 10:34 #452903Was Code Of Honor on a tipping line or one of those Pricewise update things ? It was 20’s when i backed it early afternoon.

I don’t know if it was Mark, the only place I saw it being tipped was by Gerald Delamare in the Racing Post, although there were positive comments on general summing up of the horse in the race summary, but then there were positive comments about most of the field, it was that kind of race.
I don’t ever bet on tips anyway, I prefer to crash and burn on my own
I agree with your comments on how he was placed during the race. Even with the burst of speed that he obviously has, he should have been nearer to the pace. I don’t think it was Fergus Sweeney’s finest hour.

I backed a couple at Market Rasen and both were supported, too. Grandads Horse, though it ran a stinker. Trainer won with his other three runners !

Must admit i was a tad surprised at the 22’s / 20’s available earlier for COH. Looked a more likely type than some of those at shorter prices.
