2011 Royal Ascot Super Sires Competition

After the success of last year’s competition we’ve decided to run this popular competition once again.

And I’m delighted that COOLMORE have agreed to sponsor another great first prize. This year the prize is a fantastic photograph of Coolmore Super-Sire Galileo signed for TRF by none other than that colt’s trainer, the legendary Aidan O’Brien. A fantastic prize and we are very grateful to Coolmore for providing it.

Rules are simple –

To win this great prize all we’re asking you to do is name the 3 sires that you think will generate the most prize money (according to the Racing Post) over the 5 days of Royal Ascot next week. Prize money includes place prize money also and will be as published in the Racing Post results.

Number your selections 1, 2, 3 – with 1 being the horse you feel will scoop the most and so on. Your total will be all 3 of your horse’s prize money combined. Should there be a tie from the aggregated scores, the entrant with the highest scoring number 1 will be judged the winner, and so on.

Once someone has selected a 1-2-3 that permutation cannot be repeated so it will pay to get in early. Identical 1,2,3’s are not allowed but should an occurence happen, the first entrant to have posted will be deemed the winner.

(For clarification you can select the same 3 horses as somebody else but you have to have them in a different order)

Entries will close at noon on tuesday and full finishing details will be posted after the close of racing on Saturday evening. The winner will be announced shortly after.
