A wild guess at the racecourse in the picture, based on the fact that the crowd are looking right (so a right handed track) and it gives the impression somehow of the stand being on high ground. So could it be Leicester? Or are you having fun with us and using a picture from a course since closed down!

No I never did go to an AW jumping meeting Viltash, I was mainly a chase man in those days and cards with all hurdle races amde no appeal, turf or AW. It always looked like a nasty combination of boring and lethal on TV.

Used to hear some interesting attempts by blokes in the bookies to shout this one home.

Strawbear is in there with Killick, excellent.

All the racecourse attempts are wrong, don’t worry ap, it is still very much open.
