The lightly raced Crisford filly VEIL OF CLOUDS caught my eye down at Goodwood this evening who finally lost her maiden tag in a pillar to post victory at Lingfield. Ran well on handicap debut in her previous contest where maybe five appearances in six weeks took it’s toll. Following a month off she dominated her rivals and produced her best RPR so far while described as winning readily. For some unknown reason there are people that have marked her down because all except one appearance has been on all weather surfaces and to my mind this is a mistake as there’s just not the evidence to conclude this.
