I never thought I would be moaning about lack of fashion coverage. I literally couldn’t give a toss but I know people who have zero interest in racing but watch Royal Ascot for the fashion. Unlikely any of them became racing fans but you never know. ITV fashion “experts” seem as disinterested in the actual fashion as I am, concentrating entirely on food & drink opportunities. 2nd time I have seen a plug for that wretched “scone-doughnut” combi. Wasn’t news-worthy first time round.
