I’d proffer that the bigotry present in (some) Indians – or (some) South Asians more generally – is more likely to be of a religious nature than based on skin colour: the age-old trichotomy of Hinduism, Islam and Sikhism. To which could possibly be added Jainism and Buddhism too.
And lest I be accused of ‘religionism’ I’ll make it clear that the relationship between Catholicism and Protestantism has hardly been all wine and roses.
