Agree with both comments. Jonbon is a top class, thoroughly admirable racehorse. From the moment he won his bumper in spectacular style to his victory today, he has given his all. His “expensive” price tag, which hung over him from the start, looks cheap now.
There is more to the season than Cheltenham and any attempts to downgrade him because he has not won at the festival are petty and mean spirited.
Most owners would have given anything to have a horse even half as good as him.
