A selection for readers to consider runs at my local track this evening who’s in fine fettle at present and to me seems to prefer going round a bend rather than the straight 5f courses of Newcastle or Southwell. Successful over course and distance at the turn of the year in a classified contest ROGUE DE VEGA repeated the feat two weeks later in a similar handicap to this evenings race traveling well behind the leaders, having to wait for a gap, before taking up the running inside the final furlong and winning I believe with more in hand than the official margin would indicate.
