I am of the theory that the big 2 Denman/Kauto are not worth backing Ante-post for the Gold Cup which is over 4 months away purely at the restrictive odds they currently trade and the fact that the P.Nicholls camp
are split as to who is actually the better! Their form is above every horse that has challenged them and failed so i am looking for something that hasn"t run against either but is progressing with experience and has Gold Cup aspirations! ALBERTAS RUN ticks all the boxes and at 33/1 could be an e/w player! After he has won the Hennessey he will be aimed for the Gold Cup! Trevor Hemmings knows this horse has a touch of the Trabolgans about him!I would be amazed if Exotic Dancer doesn"t run in the Betfred and i would be even more amazed if Albertas run doesn"t just run in the Hennessy but
wins it like the class horse he is! already form lines through Air force one and Roll along make him a big player! Its not a difficult race to get a handle on unlike the Sun Alliance chase! 16/1 now for the Hennessy looks
the best e/w bet of the current jumps season!!If there is a horse tailor made for the Arkle its Padydeplasterer a stiff 2m will suit him down to the ground and looks every inch a chaser currently 20/1 for the race looks tempting very lightly raced individual who can only improve!
Venalmar had the look of a chaser of great promise lets hope he is back next year! Fiveforthree being related to Celestial Gold should be well suited to 3m and could go right to the top if he can jump!! Massinis Maguire beat Tidal bay fair and square at Cheltenham and has a profile similar to Albertas run so i am looking forward to see him jump a fence!
The doubt i have with the Totherone is his stamina 21/2m could be his ideal trip and theres a race at the festival over that trip! The same applies to Kicks for free! Breedsbreeze is being targeted for the Sun Alliance chase and looks the No1 P.Nicholls entry! Tranquil sea ran down his fences yesterday and will improve a lot for the run! still a long way to go and proving to be a wide open contest! It will be a great race!Cormack15, why lay Exotic off at 34 when i could lay it off in running at less than 5 should he run?
Scottf, Very few horses win the "Reynoldstown" and the "Sun Alliance ch"
in their Novice season! The form of which is rock solid ("Roll along")! that run today was not his finest by a long way but excuses can be made! 1st time out, wrong trip and ground and basically lack of fitness! what was apparent though is that this horse can jump and travel and come 29th Nov
(4 weeks) you will see the high class animal Albertas run truely is and the fact that the Hennessey is an ideal race for top 2nd season Novices!
Arctic call, State of play, Strong flow,Trabolgan,One man,Denman etc!FIST, if you look on Betfair you will see that yesterday as i stated Exotic
was 100/1 for the Hennessy! i couldn"t resist a bit of that just incase he does run in the Hennessy even though i personally think he will have another go at Kauto in the Betfair the week before! Exotic is currently trading at 34/1 for the Newbury race! I shall be sticking to Albertas run even after that dismal performance today! You cant help but be dissapointed with the performance of Albertas Run at
Carlisle today! A distance last of 4 never looking like threatening the winner, and yet i still think he is the one to beat in the Hennessey, purely
on what he achieved last season makes him a big player,I wont write him
off on one bad run particularly 1st time out but had Kauto star run like that
yesterday we would be slating him! That is the difference in training styles
of P.Nicholls and J,J.O"Neill!!It would be interesting if Exotic Dancer did run in the Hennessey with
11-10lb because Albertas run would get about 17lb from him! Big bucks was flattered at Aintree! Albertas ran a little flat that day!Exotic Dancer isn"t 100/1 for the Hennessey for nothing! he will take on
Kauto Star in the Betfair chase again, leaving Albertas Run to take his chance in the Hennessey and on form lines through Roll along and Air force one will take some beating! He will be woefully shorter come march, this horse is different class to
anything in this years Champion! Katchit will see the backend of Jered
quickening away from him! i just hope he gets there!A lightly raced 6yo who is improving at a rate will win the 09 Champion Hurdle, jumps like a stag, travels like a dream and has a potent turn of
foot on good ground! You might still get 12/1 if you are lucky! Will be 3/1fav
come march with A.P McCoy in the saddle! JERED!!2nd season novice chasers always appeal to me for the Hennessey Gold
Cup! Albertas Run fits the bill perfectly!- AuthorPosts
