GUYS’ Some great responses to my post! Its an amazing topic Ante-post
betting! some punters detest it Others like myself live by it and its not just that feeling of being able to spot a potential champion, but the confidence that is required to put your money where your mouth is! Confidence in your own ability is everything in Gambling! When you have a losing run your confidence takes a thrashing! My favourite saying regarding Ante-post betting is "If you want the price to pay! You may have to pay the price!

Halfway, If you fancy Art Conneisseur he is regularly trading around 44-60 on Betfair! his turn of foot is potent but will he still show it over a mile?

Rory, Burntoakboy has won 1 chase in his 54 run career, he was rated 122
at Cheltenham the day Maljimar beat him by 11l is that Eleven length in shorthand? you learn something new every day! Paddy Power winners would beat Burntoakboy by a distance! Thats 25l and over in shorthand!

    Mounty,
Is that the same Maljimar that was getting near on 2 stone from
Knowhere over the course last year and flattered to decieve! Or is it the Maljimar that struggled to beat the 126 rated Burntoakboy over the course earlier this year! Or even the Maljimar that could do with being rated at least another 5lb to even get in the race!

Fist, This years Champion hurdle winner is Jered! Binocular will not be the 2nd successive 5yo to claim the Champions crown even though he is a fine prospect! Tony McCoy will ride Jered and Barry Geraghty will be on Binocular and as great a 2 prospects as they are it is the older horse that
is favoured due to the improvement he shows in every race!

Incredible to think now that had Exotic Dancer ran in last years Hennessey with 11-12, Denman would have carried 11-1. He really was a handicap good thing at 5/1! knowhere ran an eyecatching race that day too and went on to further success particularly when beating Our Vic at Cheltenham in January! I still cant believe how well handicapped Knowhere was in the Old roan chase 11lb better off with Exotic Dancer for 11/2l defeat in the Boylesports Gold Cup! incredible!

GAZ, I know you are obviously very well connected to Alan Kings yard, but
my humble opinion is that My way de solzen will be running in the Peterborough chase over an ideal 21/2m trip this side of xmas! Why are you so convinced he wont run this side of xmas?

Gaz,Far be it for me to tell you, but my feeling is that Voy por will run in the Ryanair and thats what puts me off backing My way de solzen for the race! i am sure Voy por wont run over 2m again! an easy 3m round kempton is very similar to the tough 21/2m of the Ryanair!

Equitrack, Amazing that you mention Air force One and Roll Along in your list of Gold Cup fancies when both have been easily brushed aside by Albertas Run! in fact Albertas beat Air force twice last season giving him weight in the Reynoldstown then cruised past both in the Sun Alliance! I
    guess you forgot that!

All things being equal both horses fit and well. good ground, 21/2m around
Cheltenham Choc would have a tough choice to make but the classier of the 2 is My way de solzen and class is what separates a tough fighter from
    a winning fighter!

Rory, Time will tell! I suggest you take another look at last seasons Sun alliance chase and the horses behind Albertas Run! Another interesting
point is just how highly P.Nicholls rates Big Bucks who will hopefully meet
the progressive Albertas in the Hennessey the pecking order will be much clearer then!
