Triumph Hurdle – Rutherglen 20/1 1pt ew
Vtc, If I can change my Zamdy Man selection, can I have Western Boy as well please, 1pt EW at 16s.
For the Neptune I will go with Deputy Dan EW at the same price (BetVictor).
Thanks.
Think Al Ferof will probably take all the beating here, as long as the ground is in his favour. But will try one at a bigger price in Champion Court – 1pt EW 25/1 (BetVictor).
Supreme – Zamdy Man 25/1 1pt ew
RSA – Corrin Wood 10/1 2pts win.I was at Kempton and Chartreux got up and trotted back. Can’t be 100% obviously, but looked perfectly fine to me.
Agree that 15/8 could look massive. Personally even if UDS does turn up, i’d rather be on the proven Group 2 winner at the prices.
Don’t get me wrong, the Mullins horse could be anything and has won his races in very good fashion; but do we know what he is like if something really laid it up to him?
Could be exceptional, but until he proves that in decent company, not one to be getting serious with at 4/7 on Saturday for me.
After Mullins’ comments at the weekend, I will follow many and go for Champagne Fever at 4/1.
For the World Hurdle I will take a chance that after his issues, At Fishers Cross is back to his best and have 2pts win at 7/1 (Hills/SJ).
As others have said, doesn’t look like much value anywhere in this market at the moment.
Having said that, will go with Sire De Grugy at 11/4.
Added a few more over the weekend.

The Tullow Tank 12/1 NRFB
Really think this is a sort that will relish a strongly run race, and keep finding up the him. Reminds me of Champagne Fever in that respect. Think if it was trained by a certain W Mullins, would be a fair few points shorter.
Ryanair
Champion Court 25/1 EW NRFB
Rolling Aces 20/1 EW NRFBWith three of the top four in the market looking like they are Gold Cup bound, think there’s plenty of value to be had. If you can ignore his lacklustre Paddy Power run, think Champion Court could well run into a place, especially with C&D form figures of 71513291.
Rolling Aces is a bit more speculative, but think this could be his distance, and fairly lightly raced, so there could be more improvement to come.
I agree, a thoroughly underrated horse. How he was allowed to go off odds against at Ascot is beyond me: A winner of the last three graded races he had contested vs a field that have won a total of five races between them in the last twelve months. The 6/4 available yesterday morning was very welcome.
Definitely looks the value for the Champion Chase. I’m still not sure I agree with all the talk about how he doesn’t handle Cheltenham. Granted, the run against Kid Cassidy wasn’t great, but the only other time he raced there, in November 2012, he put in a satisfactory round of jumping bar one minor mistake early on. He was beaten two lengths by Captain Conan that day, but looks to have improved much more in the time since.
Will be a great battle if both he and SS line up at Cheltenham, I know where I would rather have my money at the prices.

Very much like the way he saw off Grandouet at Sandown in December, and think he will be thereabouts in March. Confirmed to be the target after that race by Paul Nicholls.
If Champagne Fever does step up in trip, as it looks increasingly likely, will surely go off a fair few points shorter.
Also like Defy Logic for this, if he turns up.
Champion Hurdle
Annie Power 10/1 NRFB
The markets suggest a World Hurdle crack is more likely, but with Rich Ricci saying today the reason she was kept over hurdles was for a go at this race, thought it was worth having an interest in. Will surely give the boys something to think about.
Champion Chase
Cue Card 3/1 NRNB
Looks like it’s not happening now. But was worth an interest in case SS missed out.
World Hurdle
Boston Bob E/W 16/1 NRFB
With so many question marks around others in the market, couldn’t ignore the price. WH looks confirmed to be the target, and would definitely rather Mullins kept AP out of this!
Gold Cup
Last Instalment E/W 50/1 NRNB
If he continues his novice form when he returns later in the month, a shot at the big one could be on the cards. No brainer really as will surely be at least half the price if Philip Fenton judges him in good enough form to have a go at Bobs Worth et al.
Couldn’t help but be taken by Corrin Wood’s performance at Warwick today. The way he attacked some of those fences was a joy to watch.
Introduced to many RSA markets at around 14/1, but very tempted to get involved at the stand out 20/1 with SkyBet. Am a bit perturbed however that he is much shorter (around 8s) for the four miler. Anyone hear anything regarding the target for this horse?
Didn’t look short of speed, so not sure why the RSA trip wouldn’t be ideal for him, especially if he can cut out the tendency to jump right at times.
Hi all,
New on here, but will have a go at this if I may.
Will go with Hurricane Fly for the Champion Hurdle (2pts win at 10/3 with Coral), and although I can’t see past Bob’s Worth in the Gold Cup, will go with Last Instalment for the purpose of this, in the hope that he can maintain his novice form. 1pt EW at 50s.
Cheers
