Yep I think that sums it up. Racing Uk just like the bookies only ever offer free bets to new customers once they’ve got you on file thats it. (though some bookies do treat their customers better than others).

Re Frankie offer surprise surprise it was only for Sky customers once again the two main racing channels ignore the three million on Virgin I bet the £9.99 offer is only for Sky too.

I think it was just a flash storm in that area there are no reports of any other problems in North yorkshire on the local news just happen to be at that point so North East may have escaped for now

Im genuinely surprised Racing UK is getting more votes I know not many have voted yet and it aint scientific but I didnt realise its style was so popular but still 14 votes out of 17 aint bad for an average

I dont think C4 racing will continue when the analogue signal is switched off if it does I think it will go to More4

The best channel has been missed from the list ATR Active!!! The service provided behind the red button is exactly what I want from a racing channel. Pictures of horses parading and going to post, the race with commentary.

No hosts, guests, pundits, experts, nonexperts, bookmakers reps, jockeys, trainers, tips or adverts. Just the horses and the racing.

Well youve rattled my cage there because Im on virgin media i dont have the red button it angers me greatly. ATR wont answer my emails when I ask why I know they are part owned by Sky but I asked when it was Telewest and still you get no response. I get sick and tired of being told press the red button and youre watching channel 415, IM NOT WATCHING SKY 415 IM WATCHING VIRGIN 534 we are just as much loyal viewers as Sky ones and ATR we would appreciate some recognition that we help to keep your viweing figures up.

ATR by rules of the advertising people have to have four three minute breaks an hour during racing same as VH1 also are governed by strict times on adverts thats why theres are so much longer than the Emap music stations so in that respect ATR have no choice

Willima Hill Ladbrokes & One other which i cant remember someone will say own shares in SIS so they wont sponsor Racing UK. They are angry enough about Turf TV. I though Blue Sq sponsored Racing UK

But what if two races clash who decides which has the volume turned up. Why have we got to this position Ive never really understood the Racing UK/ATR feud as they dont show the same tracks if they did I could understand the rivalry but they dont nothing to argue about. What happened with the report that C4 racing presenters who also worked for ATR were having contract difficulties as their ATR contracts state they cant work or promote Racing UK and C4 has to promtoe Racing UK as part of the sponsorship

Why sign to Turf TV anyway the ones that sign to SIS get the ATR tracks and the best from Saturday from Channel 4 and/or BBC1. Those that sign to Turf TV lose 4 of the 5 All weather tracks (if we get them all up and running)
and in the middle of January will have very blank screens there was one week this January when out of the 21 meetings shown that week only 3 (Kempton) were on Racing Uk & potentially Turf TV. So will Paddy Power, Boyles etc still think theyve done the right thing thenwhen they have virtual blank screens in the depths of January. Why did Ascot sign to Turf Tv when they have a deal with SIS/ATR.
