A one paced Excess Knowledge is a thought Gordie, if i hadn`t see him finish like a rocket at Goodwood that opinion might hold water.

And come on now, be fair, although his hair might, be shall we say, not a particularly common colour, he does have some. Not yet a slaphead eh?

If you`re that angry, and 97.5% is pretty damnned angry i do agree, i sure have grave fears for your poor pussy today :(

Never that keen on The Charlatans personally, always thought they were a sort of dumbed down Oasis, and as i think Oasis are pretty terrible anyway, that might explain it.

Vera Lynn anyone? Oops, sorry your Dameship!!

Well i never Ginge. I came onto your thread fully expecting the boys to be heaping praise on you for your ongoing profitable returns, but no, none of that to be found.

Seems as though trying to coax them into making long term profits from racing is a bit like pushing treacle uphill – not going to happen i feel.

I see Gordie boy now has Graham Cunningham as a tweeting buddy, so that might help him a little,i daresay they discussed the virtues of value betting as Cunningham is a great exponenent of this way of betting.Mind you i have fairly regular chats with old Alf down at Laddys……is that as impressive?? Nah spose not, oh well onwards and upwards, well at least for those following this thread it will be

Morning Ginge, well, soft okay at York but expected rain not arrived at Goodwood, and nothing significant now expected either. They are calling it good, good to firm in places according to BHA

That went very much to plan Ginge, not sure even you

    expected

it to go that well though,

Backing DOW at 16/1 and it finishes at 7/1 sp is certainly a result, and shows it was fancied in other quarters too, although i have to confess i thought it was beyond him today.

As Nathan mentioned, had the 1 – 2 as well which paid 39.00 on the nanny.

Nicely done and at York too, great start to the meeting :D

Have to say that i am being torn 3 ways here Joni., big fan of both HS and JTJ, having followed them from early days, but i also have a soft spot for Integral who i first saw on debut at Goodwood, beating a good one of Henry`s Magic Of Reality in the process, then backed her at Sandown . where she looked oh so impressive, so would be no great surprise to me if she stepped up here either.

I feel a dutch bet coming on here as my loyalties are too divided.

Will be a cracking race though, looking forward to it.

Nicely done Joni, hopefully Lady Cecil will continue pretty much in the same vein as Sir Henry had things and the status quo is maintained. Looking that way at present.

    Best of luck today.

Well played yesterday Ginge, went very much to plan, might even be safe to put up seasons p/l figures now  :D

Discussed the old chestnut again after you`d left, exactas etc.

    2.30 £7.50 / trifecta £35.90

    3.40 £50.50

4.50 £66.00, which was a very good return as the 2/1 fav. was in the frame.

Money left on the table there once again

Absolutely fine Gdc1,nice of you to ask but i am still intrigued to know why you want to separate Royal Ascot, but with you, i just sense a hidden agenda.

So would his figures for Aintree, Gdc1, but why separate them out into small little pockets like that when, as i`m sure you`ll agree, this is very much a long term game?

Nice winner Gordie, and you were adamant in the morning earlier, and to Steve too – well played. Will he be something really special, well, jury`s out for me but yesterday was definitely his day and nice to see O`Brien`s recent stranglehold on the race broken.
