Thats what I thought at first Alan but in my BHB lists there is no change to Red Clubs this week and Sierra Vista was 102 when winning at Haydock yet is down as 100 on RP site.

They appear to have got a glitch in somewhere.

You are right they are different and I think it is the Post is actually wrong.

If you click on one of the individual horses and look at the BHB rating in far left column it is the same as the Life not what is printed in the RP.

On BHB update list of hcap marks Moss Vale and Red Clubs are both 114 so it does look as if the Post OR printed figures for that race are not correct and that the Life/ATR ones are.

I like the thought Gus !

Would make Premiership for more entertaining. Could be a far better solution than any salary cap.

    Disagree in this instance Gus.

Because of his injury issues it is his class that is his main asset and the higher grade means this is not the edge in 86-100 that is in in 71-85’s. The higher quality exposes his fragility too much.

It is why Darren Anderton can still score a hat trick for Bournemouth whereas in higher grade they would just close him down and expose his lack of pace.

86 is also too high on AW these days for him anyway especially as 83 on turf.

The other issue is there are simply no 86-100’s until Winter Derby trial day that are suitable whereas there are three 71-85’s that would have been possibilities in the same period.

Thanks Yeats – funnily enough noticed that last night when having a quick spin through the tapes. Hopefully it was too late to put anyone off !

Thanks for asking about BST. He has come out of the race ok which is about the best I can hope for these days. Even though being at the front of a steadily run race was tactically good we should have kicked on a little earlier but as first run back were just trying to hold him together.

Hcapper has dropped him 3 to 86 which is irritating as keeps him out of 0-85’s and with horses returning from Dubai soon he wont be competitive at that level.

So a little reluctantly in will be a claimer at Wolverhampton on 5th March over just short of 10f with price of 15k which reckon reflects his problems but makes him hopefully competitive.

About a year ago I was also told it was pronounced Ingles rather than Inglis but as is often the case (such as with Kato Star etc) verifying whether that is correct or not is a different matter.

Inglis was indeed an ancient Scottich langauge but I was told that the name came from :

‘John Inglis Drever Pottinger (1919-1986) was a Scottish officer of arms and heraldic author.’

As has been pointed out as a name/surname it has often been pronounced Ingles though I believe the recent addition to the training ranks Sarah Inglis is pronounced Inglis.

Simon would get at least as many names right as I would (probably many more). <br>
