    My Cheltenham Main Bets are:

CHAMPION HURDLE : 1 pt EW HURRICANE FLY (14/1 Betvictor, Stan James )

CHAMPION CHASE: 1 pt EW UXIZANDRE (16/1 Betvictor, Stan James & Hills )

WORLD HURDLE : 1 pt EW ANNIE POWER (16/1 Stan James ) Could go for the Mares race, but is a massive 4 times bigger than Bet 365 & Skybet )

Must have a wee wager on that  Unless SJ knows something as Big Mac would phrase it.

Gold Cup : 2 pts Win on ON HIS OWN (Betways goes 22/1, but if it’s not a recognized Bookmaker then 20/1 is freely available from most bookmakers.

Totesport, Boylesport, Betfred, Betvictor, Stan James, Ladbrokes, Hills.

A career record of 5/5 on right handed tracks and 0/3 left handed doesn’t point to a likely Cheltenham specialist.

Didn’t stop Desert Orchid from winning a Gold Cup.

Dessie had an excellent record going right handed, I heard at the time that if the Gold Cup had been ran right handed he’ll be a multiple Gold Cup winner now, just like his record at Kempton in the King George.

In my opinion Dessie tried both right hand and left handed, it’s just he was found wanting going left.

The Gold Cup was not in my opinion a classic Gold Cup, were he regained the lead from Yahoo but it showed his character and was well deserve.

    The Rules are as follows

One selection per race, unless Pricewise makes additiional selections, either 2ps win or 1pt each way.

    – Prices taken only with high street/internet bookies. No betfair.
    – Prices quoted at the time of posting (i.e no aftertiming), try to quote which Firms are offering the price on your selections, again AT THE TIME OF POSTING, or just state "generally available" Please, please, please do not make up a price, or use one which is long gone…….leading me to get bombarded by private messages complaining about people cheating. :D
    – Late entries permitted, but only allowed to use prices at the time of posting………entries will close

    at 2359 on 31st January.

Guess everyone can make a second choice if they wish.

    Holywell
1pt win at 14-1 with bet365 and BoyleSports
    (non-runner no bet)

    &

    Carlingford Lough
1pt win at 20-1 with Betfred and BoyleSports
    (non-runner no bet)

Could we bring back the opportunity to substitute 2 horses in February or would that make it too complicated.

What are those dates for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eswQl-hcvU0 :?:

My choice for the 2015 Cheltenham Gold Cup, I initially thought of him as a Grand National horse, however last year he proved more than that.

Last year it was as a late supplement that he nearly won it, this year I think he’ll get a better preparation.

My Ante Post tip is 2pts win ON HIS OWN (20/1 generally available )

Will be back later with Pricewise’s selection

Theatrical Star is entered in National, according to Racing Post.

I know it’s not official, yet. But what did people make of his run behind Hawkes Point today :?:

    Hope I can join in:
    2.10 Kempton FOX APPEAL
    2.40 Kempton SAFFRON WELLS
    1.35 Kempton KINGSCOURT NATIVE

    Reserve:
    3:35 Warwick CARRUTEHRS

RubyLight. You forgot to nap a selection for double points. So the rule are the first written becomes your nap. In this example it would be FOX APPEAL. :)

At the moment Kingscourt Native has won you a point, so well done on that. :D

I like to think he’s talking about me, , but it’s probably because Tom agrees with him.

Unioniste is penciled in for National, and Triolo D’ Arelne. Personally I thought that both ran excellent races yesterday. Unioniste might be a little young and it all depends on the weight he recieves, but should have a go if they think its right. However it was Triolo on ground too soft which I’d liked. Having ran in the race before, sbould be given a second chance.

Seemed to be doing things in reverse. My reserves had two 5/1 winners, while my main three scored zero. However Triolo D’ Arelne and Unioniste ran impressive races for the National. Sorry about your horse Nathan.
