Darell – Check out The Complete Manual Of Racing and Betting Systems by David Duncan.

From his research, its got the best three figure form lines, he could muster.

Recent winners following his approach include Favoured Option, 11/4 and Pasoral at 7/4.

His books not the greatest, but its pretty damn good in parts.
You’ll have to order previous systems by adding the name and price of the system on the order form, or a seperate piece of paper.

One website that looks decent quality, works from VDW ratings. It can be found at http://www.gummyracing .co.uk by clicking on the section in the top right link. I may follow this allthough Vans ways are complex (to me at least) they are prized by many…

The Ease Of Life system was one of Surewins first systems relayed in its magazines.

Originally it was intented as a high strike rate system – it claimed a 50% s.r, with an average price of 2/1. This may be a little optimistic, when I tested it did achieve around the 40% – so still good. I am going to follow the system this year when I have a decent betting bank.

I’d recommend backing all selections within the forecast price rank of 2/1 to 15/2 inclusive and within the first three of the Racing Post betting forecast to gain an even higher average return.

You can get newsletters from Surewin, they are delivered every fortnight and are crammed with systems, some good, some bad, though some are excellent.

These are some of the best (with three years results*)
in my opinion…

    Beaten Favourites 4.00

    Class Of The Field 4.00

    The American Trilogy 2002 20.00 *

    EOL as stated 4.00

    The Triple Crown 2002 20.00 *

I’ve been through countless systems these are some of my favs in terms of ease of use and long term potential.

The newsletters from Surewin never seem to stop once ordered and are delivered in A4 size so not very discreet! ( If thats an issue ).

In addition one system that looks very classy can be obtained by buying The Complete Manual Of Racing and Betting Systems – David Duncan. Its called The Best Of The Best Form Plan – it retails at the # 12.00 mark.

Hope this has saved you time and money,

    All the best.

Terry, there’s a cracking system called The Ease Of Life
that uses the clear top rated selections as you’ve stated, it costs only 4 pounds and is available from surewin racing club. They have a website – surewin.co.uk. I believe its one of the best value systems on the market.
I’ve fallen into the trap…like the many foundless, magic wave wanderers who pronounce a direction then disappear without trace…I’ve done it too. My friend had hold of my laptop cables and I couldn’t forward the thread as promised.

Can I make up for such a delusion…Here goes!

I will give a re-cap of the beaten favourite selections, that can be checked by members, please prompt any errors and I will make amendments forthwith.

    19 bets. 6 winners. 31% strike rate.

    19 point outlay. 25.916 points returned. + 6.916pts.

Darell, your system seems to be focusing on a consistent and reliable backdrop of form figures. The merits of this will surely provide endless winners.

In narrowing your placings to 2 and 3, the system will only attract a small number of bets. Winning form and a whole host of two or three line form figures could be added like 12, 211, 121 and so forth to gain a greater profit.

Restricting the input to 2 and 3 year old, flat stakes races will undoubtedly give you a high strike rate. But the inclusion of all-weather races with novice chases and hurdles will ensure a higher number of bets and potential profit.

Good luck in running, you can win with this.

Andy I’ve been through the paper trading stage. The systems work a treat and I have full confidence in their ability. I needed to asert some stabilty and dedication to my betting and decided to start a thread to make a new start. I’m back to break even point now but all going well we’ll get a decent profit soon. My cash reserves are limited at the moment Andy though I hope to play with hard cash soon. All the best…

Dave Jay, the top four in the weights cut off point is a factor that I decided to include, to enable a high strike rate to be achieved. In addition I wanted long term, steady growth, to make my approach rock solid. Here’s hoping, it does exactly what it says on the tin! The policy applies to all races, and in itself, like all parts to a system has to be questioned. Adaptations to the origianal BF system could well make the system more profitable. Thats where us members can work as a team and make it pay!

tttracing, you’re hunch is bang on target mate. I know you can win at this game you’ve got to be determined though. Emotion and greed play a big part in many peoples downfall, indeed i’ve been privy to wild ways…blame it on human nature – it makes life easier!
I never wanted to get beaten by the bookies you see that whats drives my approach, once embedded into a subject I tend to want to perfect it. Pretty damn frustrating sometimes really.

Hi Mike, the merits of computer form books may well prove superior to many paper based ones – you know I’ve just done an assignment on them – systems can get god damn complicated at times, can"t they? However decent quality, simple and straight forward ones I feel can offer great success. I would heavily recommend Surewin Racing Club – their systematic plans have provided good profits for at least two years. In addition the program, Racing System builder provides a mass of systematic variables to test and verify. Hope this helps and gives you some profits…all the best.
