ken, thanks for your re assuring words xx
Carvillshill,
I did not mean to upset anybody but I could not find any threads..and as you jumped down my throat it puts me off posting now

I regularly watch ATR and Matt C irritates me with his style of presenting
This was terribly sad, I did not realise he had died. What happened ? I saw him collapse just before the post . ATR did not mention anything as to his welfare at the time. So sorry to the connections

Sunbolt lost his life yesterday. I saw this race on ATR Uttoxeter 4.25 and I believe if the whip had not been used in excess, this poor horse would still be alive. In reality Sunbolt ran under the whip until he broke down
.This is terribly sad to see them both die in one race. My heart really goes out to all connections.
We have had this debate before. I’m sorry but if you really think that jockey’s shouldn’t carry whips then you’ve obviously never sat on a horse in your life. Go and ask jockeys if they’d like to ride without them.
Why not go the whole hog and do away with jockeys.
Yes I have sat on a horse, actually the best part of 30 years and only ever used mine for corrective purposes.
so very sad to watch a terrible end to his life , must have been terrible for the lad or lass to go home with an empty box and just his bridle
RIPits such a great shame and another sad loss to the racing world. Farewell dear friend

I am so saddened to see what happened to this poor horse, surely Tom should have had the sense to pull up ..it was sickening to watch…my sincere thoughts are with Kim Bailey and the connections
I also saw this horrific breakdown of such a talented horse. Such a tragic end to so much promise…I just hope the suffering came to an end quickly..Rest well dear friend
..just a baby running her heart out..its desperately sad she has paid the ultimate price with her life- AuthorPosts
