WOLVERHAMPTON 14/09/12
The 20:45 looks to be a one horse race for me in the shape of Bryn Palling’s
SIR BRUNO
fitted with the first time Visors he came back to form over course and distance last time out when running Amoure De Medici within a neck in a decent time on the day.
He’s no angel but the new headgear could give him the half length at the finish to win, I’d like to assume he has enough in hand last time out to be a win bet here.
5.0pt win @ 2.88

Looking at the 19:15 I’ve quietly concealed the performance of
SOMEMOTHERSDOHAVEM
among a few of my connections who put up a Listed/Group 3 time over the two mile trip at Kempton on Saturday.
This horse is back out again under a 6lb penalty and it would be a travesty if the horse with upwards of a stone and a good bit more in hand.
The horse may be looking to get through the ranks in order for a tilt at the cesarewitch whilst there are no odds available for the horse I’d keep an eye on it in the market or that of runner up Arch Villain at Kempton.
The son of Avonbridge defied his breeding by getting two miles looking to enjoy the strong pace at Kempton although if there was a slow gallop I’d be interested to see if he was better off in such a run race with that sprinting background.
5.0pt win @ 5.6
1 pt will equate to £10.

We start off the card with Henry Candy’s
CHORAL BEE
running in the Apprentice Handicap at 17:40, a really decent time earned when winning at Kempton last time out despite having to be kept interested in her work she was clear of her field with 1.5f to go and never looked like wiltering although it was more to do with tenacity than acceleration.
This does look a tougher contest but she’s in good form, I’m undecided about her going left handed and want to keep on the side of caution despite her having 2-3 lengths on these.
1.2pt win @ 7.6
3.8pt plc @ 2.46Thought I was the only one getting fast times at Wolverhampton in the last month or so! had me worried for a second.
For me, if Camelot were to win the St Leger I do believe it’s a greater racing achievement than what Frankel has given this year.
I knew this decision for around 18 months now so it doesn’t come as a surprise.
Great trainer all the best John.
What’s the initial outlay?
Thanks
