Geordieland is not good enough to beat yeats what ever ride he gets. Yeats just simply outstayed him. Shane kelly could of done no more than he did. Its a shame therefore that people like big mac and willie carson need to criticise so soon after a brilliant event.

On the subject of geordieland surley one of the big staying handicaps like the ebor might suit him. Usually they go a fast pace and plenty of runners for him to weave through. i cant see him winning the king george might end up like sergeant cecil last year.

Great shame. The alners have done so well with him and they are very good at training that type. I know you need to support new trainers but surley Mr Humphreys could leave him there he is sending other horses to nick mitchell. On another subject does anyone know what has happened to kingscliff is he going to be raced again next season or has he retired?

Iv never been a spencer fan i always feel he should win a lot more than he does and i do feel his riding tactics can be appaling at times. But to give the man credit hes won 2 jockeys titles and you dont do that with being an awful jockey. To me though hes never a man to follow in championship races he always seems to get them beat.
